LYRICS:
To all the ones who have helped me along the way,
I owe a debt I can never repay
Carried on the shoulders of strangers
No room for doubt, lead by faith, never failure
You paved the way, but to my dismay
The Great Unknown could be an Early Grave.
On a long road, with the end in our sights.
Tragedy takes it away, like a thief in the night.
I pray it's not over, won't remain broken. I'm looking for closure.
I’m scared
Didn't think it’d come with a cost
That people would change, that lives could be lost
I’m having nightmares
where fate leaves us for dead
Never imagined a price on our heads
I woke up screaming, I felt my heart sink in
I miss the days when I felt indestructible
We're veering over lines, that shake me every time
I miss the days when I felt indestructible
It wasn't supposed to be like this
I lived in a world where darkness didn't exist
Mortality is a beautiful thing, embrace it, don't waste it, you're the one who pulls the strings.
Heavy win
Heavy loss
I'm moving forward no matter what the cost
I woke up screaming, I felt my heart sink in
I miss the days when I felt indestructible
So write this on my stone if I don't make it home,
I tried my best, but I'm not indestructible
Even through the darkest nights,
all hope is not lost

I absolutely love the change in tone at 2:57 it gives the song a lot more flavor. This might be my favorite song on the album.

3:13 was pretty much the saving grace to that part. They could have added more to it than a quick moment of the cleans to shine, but it's still fantastic nonetheless. Too bad that bands like Asking Alexandria fucked up with songs like "Moving On" where that part of the cleans could have shined forth and it's especially too bad that bands like Dayshell pull off the great singing part on "Share With Me" but end up removing it in the final cut.
Me listening to this and not looking at the timer around 3:25: Aw man, the song is already over? Wage War: Hold this breakdown for me bruh!
Wage war is carrying all the "deadweight" in this genre to the trashcan. We need more bands of this caliber

+Austin Dziekan The funniest part of your comment is that there IS more bands like this. Wage War is pretty much a mutation of bands such as Fit For A King, In Hearts Wake, Confession, and Northlane. Even Emmure to an extent, but let's not stretch here!

a month ago I got jumped by a group of 5 guys walking home from school. I was physically assaulted, and all my belongings were taken. I swear this song was made for my situation. I’ve felt so many different emotions the past month, and it helps knowing there’s a way I can relate. “To all the ones who have helped me along the way, I owe a debt I could never repay” I still feel guilt with how much time my friends have put into helping me out even though I know if this happened to one of them I would help in a heartbeat. Plus, that’s what friends are for “On a long road with no end in sight, tragedy takes it away like a thief in the night” In my case it was a literal thief in the night lol but still hits hard for me “I’m scared, didn’t think it’d come with a cost” I’ve been through a lot in my life, so I thought I could power through this situation but I’ve had so many mental setbacks that I didn’t anticipate. “I woke up screaming, I felt my heart sink in, I miss the days when I felt indestructible.” I’ve literally woken up in the middle of the night with panic attacks. One of the many things I didn’t anticipate to be dealing with in this situation. Like I said, I’ve dealt with a lot in life so I’ve prided myself on my independence and strength so now, when I feel so helpless and weak, it’s hard to come to terms with the fact that I’m not indestructible. thanks wage war for helping me out

This is absolutely FIRE, this guys in the future will be like parkway drive or architects by far, defintely, this guys are incredible, so young, so talented, i've seen them in december at barcelona, can't wait to see them again.
This song is about the ghost inside and architects. They even got 2 breakdowns that sound exactly like them. Both bands went through a giant event and they are getting through the things that happened to them. Thats why they are "indestructible" plus they mention "early grave" and "The Great Unknown" in the beginning of the song which are songs from the two bands

This album is a contender for the new While she sleeps for album of the year.
I was at Rockville this year, 2k19, and was the most excited for your set for the whole weekend lineup, but ended up getting to the venue late on Sunday, and got to the stage RIGHT AS YOUR SET ENDED. God damn the River stage being so far from the North gates. Love you guys tho! Keep up the amazing music!!
The cleans in this are amazing.
