Due to a poorly-timed spam phone call minutes after I started recording, our forward-facing camera (my iPhone) didn't record. The forward facing shots were thus filmed after the main driving portion, so those shots are not in sync with the actual drive. Thank you random 416 caller...

I really LOVE these types of night drives. So soothing. I can hear my jazz collection playing on the stereo if I really strain my imagination's ears. It's wonderful to watch you enjoy your car. Aloha.

I appreciate that, thanks! Hoping to get this car out on the road this week as we're usually swamped with press cars.

IM really considering buying this as my first car i was considering this or e55 2003-2006 but 2006 doesnt come in many people selling in my area ( toronto ontario ) s550 stands out way more and for the price 17k-20k i think its more worth as more dealers are selling and 2013 is newer way more benefits/ features and more compettion gives more room for negotiations. ( ithink e55 only beats it interms of exhaust sound) I would just like to know if anyhting really stands out to you in the car that you must be careful of.

There are certainly things to be aware of, such as airmatic, transmission, and electronics. You're also buying a flagship luxury sedan, so maintenance costs will be higher than a regular car priced at the same mark in the used market. As a first car it's certainly a top tier vehicle to own, if you don't have to rely on 100% of the time and you have the budget for repairs, then you might be able to get away with it.

That's something I'd be curious to test out. I think since it can pick up and detect pedestrians it might help to highlight them while still not necessarily being able to see through the fog, but if I end up getting a night with fog I'll absolutely test it out!

Can you please describe massage seats? What type of massage they give?

There are 4 modes for the massage, they pulsate the lumbar bags inside the seats. It's by no means an intense massage, I feel the G01 BMW 7 Series had actual rollers in the seats to massage.

Glad to see you driving a fabulous car and enjoying driving it , how much did you pay for you car (Canadian) Because I’m in a market for one. One other thing is did everyone you know told you to not buy a Mercedes ? Or was it just my friends

I got a bit of a deal on this, it was listed for about $28k but I used my (then) position at a dealership to get it wholesaled to our dealer for $24k. I needed to put about $900 into it for safety, so approximately $24,900 before tax. I was working at a GM dealership so naturally everyone told me not to buy one! I did quite a bit more research on this car purchase than I had with my 2001 BMW 740iL, I watched a lot of reviews from mechanics who had either owned this generation, or worked on them enough to know they were pretty solid overall. So far I'm very happy with the purchase, zero regrets. Only downside to being back on the press car circuit is I won't get to drive this as much, as I'm using the C-Class as my runabout between the manufacturers, and the S-Class is sitting at home.

@@rudradevthacker nope , still looking for a what I want , none of Mercedes Benz’s for sale at the moment have the rear entertainment package and the rear executive seats. They are all base model SWB.
