The new s class in general is not my favourite. I like that they are modernising it however, they are executing it completely wrong. Its giving me tesla vibes especially with the doorhandles and that new grill is horrible.

@@Winter_Wyvern1 unfortunately they ended production of the S class coupe and cabriolet with the introduction of the new gen S class. I believe it may be to do with emissions regulations, car manufacturers in the EU have to reduce their average fleet CO2 figures, as a result many brands are making their lineups smaller. Mercedes has axed S class coupe, CLS and E class/C class coupe are being replaced by a new model called CLE, etc…..I believe the A class may be axed too.

@@KissofDeath63 True, especially as the new SL shares (more or less) the same chassis as the next gen GT. At least we still have the SL, better than nothing I guess, but it would be epic if they made a new S coupe.

We all should see more of this. This looks like my commute, though I don’t drive an S class. Still, it shows that the differences between the Chinese and American people on the ground are less than our leaders would like us all to think.

I have that as a S500 L sedan. You start always in 2nd gear and 2nd gear can go up to 80 km/h. That means permanent acceleration to 80 without any powerloss, it only gets more and more power due to higher revs. Pushing 700 Nm from the very beginning.

I like how the roads in Shenzhen, China are so well made, there is literally not a single pothole. The Mercedes-Benz S450 Coupé is definitely one of the best Mercedes-Benz because it is very quiet. Excellent video and greetings from Macedonia! 🇲🇰

I agree with your driving, these days when people are blocking the left lane, i go over a few lanes and just stay in the right lane, cuz I just get more agitated when there are people driving slower in the left lane, instead i go the same speed as them in the right lane for a few minutes until they clear by themselves... I dont feel good staying around when someone is just loitering in the left lane.. it may sound weird but this kind of 'saves my heart' as i dont need to get worked up when this happens... and in rush traffic, sometimes its even more apparent, the left lane is pushing by a few and others are just going the same speed as right lane, so then i just directly dip into the furthest right lane for a few minutes, and honestly after like 10-15 minutes i join the left lane again, and the same cars are there anyways..

One thing I really like about Americans when it comes to driving is that they are very patient. Here in Asia, if you do what that one car did when they signaled left and paused there for whatever reason, you get honked at quite a few times. Also for some reason, in some parts of Asia people really like to tailgate as if that's not dangerous. But as I mentioned, drivers in some parts of Asia aren't as patient as most Americans.

if you don't know why he driving at 130 km/h despite the speed limit there are quite stricter enforced, well in Chinese expressways, you can actually speed up at 10+ km/h so it means that the speed limit there is actually 120 km/h because some cars have been quite going fast especially when their speedometers doesn't match the actual speed that they were going
