Excellent workmanship if you take compliments.
Thanks for taking the time. Well explained with tool sizes and torque specs.
You’re hardcore brother, this is a serious job on the ol 4matics, most people dump the car when this comes up.
Brilliant video, Mike. Helps in doing three big procedures on the Mercedes.
Great video. I plan on do upper control arm for my 02 e320 4matic. This video will help out a lot
Good Job. I'm a Mercedes Tech and 4Matic cars are always a pain in the but.
This video helped me a lot on my 2002 E320 4matic doing my upper control arms. One thing I would suggest for those watching this that don't have the sweet inspection camera to help with the right front is this. The nut on the rear of the upper control arm mounting bolt is accessed through the inspection port behind the rubber plug in the fender well. You will need to use an offset spanner wrench (16mm) to get on the nut through the port. A straight spanner no matter how long will not get the right angle to get on the nut.
Great video and hell of a job!!
well explained , and great video.. top man
Good jop and good songs too
I just did this but an offset wrench was my best friend for the passenger side.
I'm doing the same job on an e430 4matic and I too only have a couple of hours a day to work on it.
good job!
Awesome video, thank you! BTW, what kind of headlight do you wear?
This was very helpful, especially the torques. Thank you! I’m interested to know what model Aircat you were using. I’d like to get one.
Excellent guide. Which eBay spring compressor did you purchased?
thank you for help
Does anybody know how to remove the screw of the upper control arm of a meces benz e320?
Is there any danger of the coil spring flying at you when you replace that upper control arm?
I'm a new owner of a 1998 E320 4Matic and I'm trying to figure out which wheel bearings I need. One video shows the one you just pulled and another shows tapered bearing. Any help is MUCH appreciated. Also on the upper control arm, is there a difference between a 4Matic and the other models?
