2.0 is such a downgrade, never heard of such issues with older VWs
That headlight & front grill had smoked, is that after market work or it can done at the showroom ? And the GT batch your'e adding that can be done at the showroom itself or outside market it can be done ? Any online leads/portal for the GT badge if you have let us know, it will be helpful....
