Looks like my Touareg has stripped threads on the rear diff drain. Any way to rethread that or do I need to replace enter diff?

You can get an over size plug. Then drill and tap to the new plug. Best to open the diff to clean it out of any metal bits before filling and putting it back in service. That a pain.

Gary what is rear dif fluid capacity please. Will 1 Liter bottle be enough? Thank you

Gary, the hydraulic lift makes things so much easier if I had one.. I’d work on my cars more often. How much does a basic one cost for a regular house garage?

Mine was used when I got it 19 years ago. I have seen adds for less than $3000 but the market is so crazy now I have no idea. Cheers

How many kilometers or miles does rear or front diff oil is good to go ?

Good morning could you help me locate the speed sensor of VW Touareg year 2007 V8 engine 4.2 fsi gv, I have to replace it but I do not know where it is in the vehicle
