Believe that’s a gear ratio monitoring faults, the auto transmissions in those cars have common valve body issues, see if you have any other faults stored in your transmission control module

What if you get clunking from gear 2 down to gear 1 when coming to a stop, but no fault codes?

My 2011 Jetta is doing this to, it slams very aggressively. To minimize it I have to brake as gently as possible. I thought my transmission blew up the first time it happened.

Hi. Very useful video. I have a VW Tiguan Diesel 2.0 auto (2016). I am getting a solenoid 5 open circuit error. What could be the most probable reason? Is it an electrical fault as you say in your video or the mechatronic unit is damaged?

I would check those wires at the transmission connector real good before anything, it may need a solenoid but more likely a broken wire or damaged connector pin

Why does the title say 09G and the video be about the 09M?
