yea maybe they would do this for you. it does work. no more engine lights even now.

In the UK, cars with a DPF have either zero road tax, or it’s very low ((maybe £30/year). However…….when the DPF gets to the end of its life, the car won’t pass its annual test, emissions too high. This is where the low tax for several years cancels out, you end up with a high replacement bill for the filter. I sold my car with a DPF before it got to that stage.

Rawtek full delete + Malone stage 2. You will never look back if you live in a place that doesn't test emissions.

yea they do in CA.....but I have the Malone stage2 still meets emissions standards. some Ass*@$& thought he was going to cut me off.....Got schooled. ha ha. did a double take and pulled in behind.

@@philsipes1905 Malone stage 2 is a custom tune. This is not going to benefit you if you live in Commiefornia due to the emission laws there. The tune allows you to delete the DPF and EGR and run without those installed.

Thanks Mike, but this is why I am using a Chevy LS product now. I gave up on the MK5 TDI. To much worry and problems.

Chevy is probably the best engineered American car. LS is the best platform. Would take a Camaro any day over a Mustang. Love the Camaro with the Corvette suspension and engine. I forget the name.

You can also take the dpf filter off and pressure wash it with some simple green. It’s not the carbon you need to worry about it’s the ash. Ash never goes away until you remove it physically aka pressure washer. Just fyi. Thanks bud and godbless

use the WD 40 lid from the trigger style one......they have a longer straw and the straw doesnt come out. I used oreilly auto parts brake clean lid and straw. but be careful not to drop the straw into the hole. can happen easily.

Why do you have to disconnect the exhaust. Think it will work without disconnecting

They have dpf shops that clean they atleast for big rigs maybe they will do a small one too?

Yeah they do it from the dealer and they're 1200 bucks. But she's still going strong

I did this process, ending with running the exhaust unplugged for 20 minutes. Then I manually cleared my engine light and went for drive. After driving for 15 miles, the engine light came back on. At 20 miles, I got a flashing glowplug light, and noticed it wouldn't rev past around 3500rpm. This was just as I was arriving home. I ran my OBD-II and had the DPF code, and now had a new code P0299 Turbo Underboost, which made complete sense based on how it was driving. Any ideas?

Update. My car fixed itself after driving about 200 miles (not sure how many regens it did). No check engine light, no more issues with the turbo, and it just passed smog today. I think my turbo issue was just a temporary side effect from me tampering with the exhaust system (undoing it, oven cleaner, etc). Thank you so much for this video!!!

A regen is a cycle that sends the dpf into a cleaning mode where it gets really hot then it burns of carbon and whatever else is caught in there this is supposed to be something it dose by it self however if you have a faulty parts such as a EGT (Exhaust gas temperature sensor) or other failed components it won’t do it on its own. The way it should happen is when the cars up to temp and you drive it for a while going recommend speeds and rpm’s most likely in your manual it will say what you should do but for my 2011 Jetta tdi it likes to do the cycle when Im cruising about 60 mph while rpm’s are in between 2000 and 3000 rpm’s if you have a car with a sport mode or standard mode that will help you achieve reaching higher rpm’s During the process

Also the dpf can be clogged with ash from burning off all the stuff in there and that’s when you’d have no choice but to take it off and manually remove the ash or buy a cleaner or try something like this

Can also use tsp and water solution. Its very good for oily stuff. It will not eat the ceramic either. I would alternate 2 cans of oven cleaner and 2 solutions of tsp. Its a powder, mix it with water, like 2 tbsp per 8oz. Cheap cheap way of doing it i think. It really strips and cleans, it leaves no residue, i think oven cleaner leaves a film of slick stuff sometimes. It would be more ideal to backwash, So i think there is a process where you drill a 1 inch hole, insert a plug that inflates, like a bulb with a pump, that seals engine exhaust from water. Then spray and set for 2 hours, backwash from catalytic split, and repeat it that way 4 times. Would take hose adapter, inflatable plug, and a way to seal the 1 inch hole, welding it up. But, if thats easier than rippin out the garbage factory shit, THEN definetly use the butt plug method. Or the oven cleaner tsp method. Best yet way i think is alternate concentrated sulfuric acid wash and tsp wash giving an hour or 2 for it to sit in and dissolve the crud. Would dilute the stuff before running or regen, and end it with the basic tsp for least amount of corrosion after. Its the most intensive chemical method, high ph swing washing. Or maybe hydrogen peroxide concentrated alternate with tsp would be better too. There should be a test with one removed, in a ultrasonic cleaner to see which one works best.

We got far better tuning than Malone or any others. 200-215 from stock turbo. We use OEM software and tune it just like the factory would. Leaving all safety limitations in place Which others don't. And the ability to still diagnose faults. I have a malone GTB 2260 kit without there tuning. At the moment I have 300hp 520nm On the stock HPFP with a slight modification exclusive to us. Also upgraded injectors from a biturbo Passat. Car is fully deleted. This is exclusive tuning. all communications and files all done through whatsapp. Not emails or tickets No powergate. Dsg tuning provided as well. @@Mikefngarage

there is another temp sensor right next to the O2 sensor.

So the dpf did its job, just kept that carbon for a while and then put it back into the atmosphere ... :)

another guy had a video on youtube I figured I have nothing to loose. Particulate filter was toast and plugged up would not regen. After doing this then regn 2 times light has been off ever since.

@@awatxufermin worst scenario you will need to replace it (will anyway)...best scenario it will work. I am gambling it will work. Be sure to do 2 regens. I did 1 then drove it about 20 miles then did another. Need rosstech or vagcom to do regen while standing. good luck. Be sure to comment again after a week after you do the job so people know it works.
