Hi, i had same problem... Long story short, changed map sensor, fixed wiring in the location of the connection where u read voltage for sensor. The sensor gives me the right measurements now but still in limp mode. while the car is running if i erase codes... The car runs fantastic. But if i turn it off and on again, it is in limp mode.

@@CoolAirVw In France, life is more and more expensive, the conflict in Ukraine, climatic conditions (hail and drought) have increased the prices of fossil fuels and food. Even the vines have suffered but we shouldn't run out of wine! Super you came to Paris, you saw the beautiful architecture that our illustrious ancestors left us, unfortunately I never crossed the Atlantic but when I go to the beach I sometimes have the impression of seeing the America on the horizon! if one is tuning one of these common rail TDI's, worth removing the MAP sensor in the tune? I've read some say increased performance and others say more likely to have puffs of smoke (which I don't want)

map sensor was outputting 3.9 v at idle which was lying to the computer telling it that boost was at maximum 9about 3900 millibar. . At 12:50 we showed the new sensor and then it was installed, and we read the reading from the scan tool and it was normal at 968 millibar. You could use the info in this video to diagnose your problem. We had a 2nd vehicle like this that had the wire broken to the map sensor. I'll try and find the link to that one.
