Hi I recently bought a 58 plate vw polo and have the standard CD player which I'd like to change and the centre console to a DVD player/touch screen but no idea where I could get my hands on a different coloured console and how much would it cost to buy and get it fit in? As you can tell I've no idea about cars and learning via google and KZread 👍😂

if you want a different colour centre console then you'll have to paint it ourself or send it to a pain shop to get it done, not sure how much it will cost as it varies between places. the head unit can be bought of eBay or amazon or you could probably get a second hand one from someone on the appreciation page on Facebook

Any idea if you can replace the air vents on the console or if you cant remove them and have to buy a new console and get it fitted?

MRGadget's Gaming you can remove them, I don’t remember how but if you take the console off and look at the back, you’ll figure it out

@haazi I have no idea. I actually only owned the car for two years and never replaced it. Rivets are easy you can pop them off by using a drill and drilling lightly on the rivet but then you cannot secure it again so I wouldn't do that

Hello, do you know which Screwdriver (Torx Size )is needed to remove the instrument panel?

My cup holder is jammed. I cant seem to pop it out from the front so guess I need to go in through the back. Do I need to replace it?

they are a pain to get out but if you break the clips you will probably want to replace them as it will more than likely rattle like hell

+OmgItsOllie We lust wedged in a knife in the top right corner where the clip is and it came out really easily.

@@michellesachs3951I felt that there was absolutely no need to unplug the battery while performing this operation. You may want to though if you have read it somewhere.
