This is the beautiful VW Golf Mk2 Berg-Cup machine of Sarp Bilen, one of the Fastest 1600cc Class units int he iconic German HillClimb series. Powered by a specially built Spiess engine unit dubbed SPG01 and based on the power unit unit used on the one powering the Formula 3 single seaters, producing 250Hp at a screaming 9.800Rpm, moving only 730KG of weight. Here you can watch it on Homburg HillClimb in Max Attack mode on the way to a tremendous result.

Yes this is exactly the raucous character honda were going for with the S2000. They took what was their then 2 litre race engine and made it work on the road. The K series was being designed at the same time, more or less in parallel, I'm sure a fair bit of the F20C rubbed off on it.

You would fit easily, they are actually spacious inside. If you feel tight inside, I think passat b3 seats can lower your sitting position

3.4l V6 NA is the modern F3 engine, running 380 bhp. This may not be standard, or indeed a modern version of that. I mean they run it in a car that weighs about the same as a cigarette. 🤣
