@@SohaleZakeri I’ve seen some adapt itb’s from bikes that are decently cheap. For the gearbox you could use a dq250 dsg that isnt super expensive. At a scrap yard you’re looking at about $200 for one. Plus $400 for the street bike itb’s

I see it has a electric power steering conversion...how is it reaction on the track all this quick steering in the corners? Because i plan on the same set up

it's a corsa C power steering, if you use it on track at full power (softer) it can overheat very easily, in normal mode will be fine

the chassis is so stiff that it rides on 3 wheels in some corners! It's like a classic 90s BTCC race! all we need is Murray Walker with the commentary!

nope... it's the rear suspension that causes that. torsion beam... had an 85 MKII GTi as my first car and it would do this if I took a corner fast enough... I don't doubt the chassis is stiff though...

@@matthewscarpetta starting in the A2 generation the syncro cars came fully independent. If we are talking solely GTI's then the first IFS were in the A5 generation. Also to the guy above...its got a semi-independent trailing arm type rear suspension, not a torsion beam. The trailing arm is dynamic under load and increases toe to act as passive "rear steering". It works and it works well, hence why it was around till 06.

Weddle/Mendeola: weddleindustries.com/transaxles $10-23k each, but well worth the price. Nobody will catch you with a sequential gearbox because no human can shift that fast. On top of that you will steal all the attention because everybody will be mesmerized by the sound you will be making.
