Nice video and alot of info in it. Is hard to find info for crafter 2.5 engines on the youtube. Thank you for your free visual informations. One question: did y fix that long crank ? and can y explain about it please ? thank you.

Long crank is due to crap battery. I believe its running a 096 and could do with bigger.

Is it possible to remove the oil carter from underneath just by loosening the bolts only? I have once removed the engine to change clutch and flywheel and so forth, but never considered removing the carter pan to clean it out after an oil flush.

did you find the oil leak around the cooler/filter housing? I have the same all covered in oil not sure weather to replace the lot or just gaskets

If you can get it smoke teated your probably find a air leak where seal has gone.

Good video and details 👍 I’ve also got a Crafter 11 plate 2.5 runs great’ but as always been smoky when accelerating or idling in traffic’ and only black smoke 💨? Loads of people have looked at it’ but no answers. ? Any ideas 💡 👍

@@alfjobharris3078 Yes starts every time’ It’s done 175.000 miles’ But I use a quality oil and a oil additive’s ‘ never go over 60 mph.

First thing i would do would be smoke test, see if you have any boost leaks
