    dude you're grooving on a whole new level this is crazy! not only that i find it really generous of you to put the tabs out there so everyone can learn it. It's really appreciated. I actually learned how to read tabs just to learn this lol I was just curious about your EQ settings. how do you get that muted tone? I'm currently playing the song with a piece of foam under the strings near the bridge like jamerson used to do but you lose a lot of grit when you play the little trills on the G string.

  • @SeabassMusic

    @SeabassMusic

    6 жыл бұрын

    Hi! First of all thank you so much for the kind words, they mean a lot! On that bass I use the EQ with almost all the bass, no mids, and barely any treble. That bass is very bright so thats how I make it sound a bit bigger. I used to do the foam too, but it's really all in your hands. I learned a left hand muting technique from one of my teachers at Berklee. I teach online lessons if you're interested (I have lots of transcriptions like this one that we can go through)
