You’re very welcome. A lot of people say it’s the ‘percentage of power distributed to motor’ function. I call it a speed cap-same thing. Either way, it limits your speed because you’ve chose lower the amount of power to the motor(s). Hopefully, that makes sense to you. I’m glad this video was helpful for you.

It dials down all the gears too, P08 is the percentage of power assigned to the scooter. Mine is permanently set to 50% turns my gear 1 to 30km/h gear 2 to about 45ish and gear 3 to 55ish, it’s a great way to get more range!

@@LetsTalkShip and makes the scoot a bit more versatile, you can go on multi use trails as well as roads by just changing gears, notice that when you press down on the throttle it stops acceleration half way on the trigger when P08 is set to 50%, after half way on the trigger it’s just dead space.

I capped power on mine to 50% and with such gradual acceleration I was able to push 60+ miles out of battery.

The cap is not a speed cap but a percentage of power your are using. So at 15 you are using 15 percent of your power that goes to the motors.

maybe if you put dual motors on it to run it will be correct?

Its showing in km/h in stead of miles/h

That setting is for a % of full power.

The setting isn't 4 miles an hour.. It's for percentage of the power that it has. 100% = 100% of the power.. 50 does not equal 50 miles an hour.. It's cutting the power of the motors in half.

Yes. Someone broke down the math for me. But, other also say that is the amount of battery going to the motor(s).

@@K4rvanaama Gotcha. The math is 15 (mph) x 1.6 = (kph). Yea, it’s here say to me at this point. I’m still going to call it a Speed Cap simply because it allows me to control my speed at full throttle.

The speed cap setting will operates/function correctly ONLY IF you are riding on MODE/GEAR 3... Since you are on MODE 1... it will only maxed at a certain %... try it on all 3 modes and you will see that the speed will rise accordingly...Happy scooting ! 🛴 Similarly, the sport/turbo mode will only works if there's no cap (100)...But WILL function on all 3 modes...if you can't test this in real world scenario, put the scooter on a pedestal or something...I actually just used an empty beer case to work on things when I need the wheels off the ground..😁 Additionally, some people claimed the sport/turbo mode doesn't feel any different...that's partly due to being on mode 3 already...if you were on the other 2 lower modes and engaged sport/turbo mode...YOU WILL experience the PULL...LOL PSA 😁...THIS is all completely different than the P12 setting...that is just for ACCELLERATION RATES...The subject here is "speed caps". 😉

One more thing...To get close to speed accuracy: P6 = 9.6/9.7 (tire wear) P7 = 30
