Of all the videos I've watched on this stage, this was the best load out for me. I just switched cutter for ultimate windy and Socrates was dead within a minute

I'm really curious if i can beat this no gacha as there seems to be no practical way to do this. We have nothing to stall him, no meatshield density will ever be enough to keep him in place with that attack and movement speed combined with the front omnistrike distance. Maybe we could do something with miku cat and ranma cat if he was alone but there is no way with those 1200% doge darks. There is no way to chain him as he needs 400k for a hitback. Healer cheese falls off as well since that new passive trait reduces all effects from non sage killers by 70%, a single healer with combos will never permafreeze that guy and there is no way to get multiple healers on the battlefield at the same time in that stage. But come on, there must be a way, all level 1 difficulty stages they added were possible no gacha since the release.

Fantastic! Question - how good is Socrates as a cat unit? Because looking at his stats and abilities, I am really not very impressed. The summon ability seems pretty strong, but as a unit by himself..... Really unimpressive. Inconsistent freeze (30% proc) that can't be stacked and pathetic DPS for a melee range fighter (about 6k DPS at level 30 from 250 range lol). Fast attack rate is the only thing that keeps his CC viable, but if you're not lucky he could fail his proc and lose control. Omnistrike would be nice but it only goes to 400 from 250 standing range, which is really not good because it totally relies on stepping stones and can barely reach enemies like Sliepnir. Imo if you're gonna use him for his anti angel procs, you need to use him with something like Sanzo who can at least keep the enemies under control if you get unlucky and he fails to proc. And if you want to use him for combat, you NEED to boost him to a high level. It's really disappointing for me as the first ZL Legend. Not shit or anything, but just not that good.

I think Ponos purposefully made Socrates not strong because of the summon ability which is kinda sad. He can probably be used to possibly permafreeze wigge tho which is awesome imo

It's even sadder because the summon is the only thing he really has going for him. Sure, he's only one of 2 units now who have summon, but the second more summon units appear he's gonna fall. It's like how Musashi was our primary anti wave for 4 star and then he fell off after Dancer got his talents (and then mushroom, Naala, Hitman etc. happened)​@@_smugmaster_4553

We will probably get more sage slayers until it is possible in 4*, something like anti-sage meatshield

No gacha is most certainly impossible because nearly all of the needed units are gone. This is also probably impossible with 4 star restrictions since no octo, no metal, no roe, no manics, no cyberstacking, no reliable chip damage.

Cutter can be obtained from every single regular gacha banner outside of Fests, like all the other Grandon units.
