Almost ready to start cruising in mk3 vr6 this summer myself, best old vw engine.
That little “pump” that was in the way of the strut bar, I believe is part of the vacuum system. I think it’s called a dashpot ? But I’ve wrong before. Great job, once again. Thanks, RickGTI….. 🌴

Vr6 noises to help me get me through my swap... why do you get such bad rev hang on gear changes? Or is that a normal vr thing 🤔

Could be the regular dual mass flywheel, I had a 10lb flywheel at one time and there was never anymore rev hang on my vr6.

@@scottyoung7896 yeah it's single mass I was mistaken, the stock weight is around 18pounds.

As long as you have a Cold cranking amp battery of over 500 amps you should be fine in normal weather nothing too cold.

At some point can you go over on the type of "paint" Miley has? It's a beautiful color but it's been on it for a long time for it to be a "plastidip" paint.
you sure miley doesn’t have a vacuum leak? rev hangs on shifts, idle is above 1k? the lope is phenomenal but idk just seems off to me… might just be me…

Cluster is also off, if you look at it after he shuts the car off it sits at like 300 rpm
