VR Boxing 12 rounds with Ugly Joe on Outclassed difficulty in Thrill of the Fight.
Ойындар
I see if I can last 12 rounds with the regulation 3-minute rounds with the second fighter, Ugly Joe, set to outclassed difficulty in Thrill of the Fight.

In addition to this high quality content, it is really cool to watch your channel develop. Definitely deserves way more views.
Nice video. I Appreciate these videos a LOT.
You put some work in this. Props for going all 12
Good work man. I'm considering getting the game. For the algorithm.
These 12 round fights are pure gold :)

Great videos and easily the best TOTF material on KZread. In one of your videos you mention recovering from injuries caused by the game? Can you elaborate?

Glad to hear your interest in this, and yes. I'm starting to plan the video to talk about the injury risk, recovery, and prevention.
Cannot wait to fight you in TOTF2. Hopefully in multiplayer they will fix chin, and between the eyes from not causing so much damage.
I am still on Normal. Overhand right seems to be my money punch for the moment but I need to be careful or I will get injured with RSI if I only throw that ( I am 57 so the body will break down easier now ). Starting to get success with digs to the body. I hope body blow knock downs come in the new version where the opponent takes a knee. The need to measure out your effort and not over commit are great parts of the game. I think we will all watch boxing with a much keener appreciation of discipline, tempo and conditioning after playing this game. The one thing you can't really show is the "hit and run" approach that I have to fall back on when my legs are all I have left.

Yeah! I'm certainly finding myself watching boxing with a whole new level of attention - and appreciating just how slow and sloppy I am compared to a pro!
straight right, left hook to the body , right hook is my money maker combo.
Nice body shots
Hi, cool video! What multiplier were you running and did you have DP on? You should try to exhale as you strike. Were you pacing yourself or trying to carry the fight for 12 rnds?
@trivialbeingplays

Thanks! I use the wrapped wrist simulator and mass and hook multipliers set to 1x (see min 3:30 for those settings)
Let's go! What would your multiplier be with auto adjustment on? Keep doing what you doing!
@trivialbeingplays
2 жыл бұрын
Last I checked, the auto adjust settled my hook multiplier at 1.0, while the general mass multiplier settled around 1.9 (which I think is because I don't put much behind my jabs and straights, knowing they won't do much and I might as well not waste the energy or hurt my shoulder, but I've trained my hook to work with a 1x mass multiplier).

@@trivialbeingplays yeah I have been thinking about your stance a little, obviously it works really well for you and perhaps you need to take such a defensive approach when playing on outclassed. Anyways these KZread videos from Tony Jeffries the boxer could perhaps challenge you to try a different stance when training. I find myself the jab to be really powerful and I've managed to land some good hits but most importantly it helps me to know the distance thus landing those even more heavier punches. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qaKupNCwcrPJhZc.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/e2p2lLekktTSfLQ.html
But dude…why is ugly joe in the big stadium instead of hazegoods boxing gym?
I've had a difficult time getting most fighters through 12 rounds because the first knockdown normally leads to 2 more within that round. I've found that decreasing the trauma gain rate can make for some very fun, LONG fights!
Do you have any videos explaining what all the settings do? because for a newbie like me I am good at fighting and Ugly Joe shoulda went down, so i am thinking the auto-adjust screwed me over?
@trivialbeingplays

Yes I'm planning to do a video covering the settings in a bit more detail. Thanks for the interest!
Nice! How do you protect your headset from sweat?

Silicon cover over the foam and a headband help. Definitely still needs a wipe after.
U gotta wiggle the controllers to regain consciousness. The ref will give you a standing 8 regardless.
i managed to just about sneak a win in 3 round agaist this guy, cant imagine 12 jeez. how did you record this mixed reality video?

It sure is tiring! It's recorded using the Oculus Mixed Reality Capture tool.

Man, you haven't put a new video for a while. It's an unfortunate you don't have enough subscribers and views.
AHHAHAaHahahaah ugloe joe got me down once in the 2nd round near the end, and another time in the 3rd round near the middle, on a 3round fight, 1.2 multiplier i was on, and yeah hes the first fighter i could not knock out in the game, and i havent played since because he flogged me so hard :(

Even just as a warm up, try getting really comfortable with a really easy fighter/setting, I bet you'll surprise yourself next time you then step up.
how do you play PC? Mobile phone model vr glasses. if I can get detailed information ?!

I just made a video on outclassed too!!
You should make the gloves small too, makes it a fair bit harder, you lose a lot of power and you have to move in and out more because the range is more realistic

I miss them often too, and it's almost always because I haven't stepped in enough. Have to get SO close to land them (particularly with the wrapped wrist setting).

@@jonnijames check out min 0:36 of this video for a quick visual: kzread.info/dash/bejne/apeO3LifqcLMk5c.html To summarize, it shortens your range by forcing your wrists to be straight. In other words eliminating the range benefit to punching with a straight arm and a bent wrist.

@@trivialbeingplays are you saying its ENCOURAGING proper form as to not be slappy with your wrists and to try to hold them straight or else your punches will suffer? ( the glove twisting in if your wrists are twisting in , thus reducing your overall reach? ) I hope thats not too confusing , cheers

@@jonnijames Might be too generous to say it encourages good form, but it at least removes the incentive for bad form ;-) still up to us to train ourselves to have good form!
