    Just as a reminder.....dab will do you with Rocksett.....if you use a big glob, it will make removal much harder than using just a dab! Red Locktite would also be something to try and it might prove easier for removal should one want to take the comp or tracker off his/her pistol

    If attached to a P30 would this result in an overall slide length equivalent to a P30L for purposes of holster compatibility?

    Um dumb observation, but this looks like it makes fully field stripping for a good clean a major pain in the rear. I own a vp9 and p30, shoot them a lot and this just looks frustrating.

    Not an issue at all....you disassemble the slide from the frame and then the only difference is you don’t remove the barrel....easy.....you can clean everything.....if you are fully disassembling every roll pin and every part on your VP9 for cleaning, you are destroying your gun. The VP9 or P30 disassembles as usual and can still be further disassembled for armorer work easily with the comp/sight tracker installed......good question and concern though

    You can do everything but the barrel - even then, if you do a deep clean on the barrel a few times a year it’s not much more than 10 minutes a year

  • @damon323

    @damon323

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@HKShootingwithDerekG I disagree, I think it is a issue. Not a huge one, but there is plenty of crap in between the slide and barrel that absolutely needs cleaned. Comp looks cool, but without removing the barrel from the slide, you won’t get to properly clean the slide. Especially need to clean where the firing pin protrudes, and the extractor as well.

    Recently purchased the PMM comp for my VP9. After installing the VP9 fails to feed. Thought it was possibly a magazine issue and checked all 5 mags, same issue. Uninstalled the comp from the threaded barrel, shoots fine. Put the standard barrel in, shoots fine. Any idea why the comp would cause it to not cycle/fail to feed?

  • @DeathByLego

    @DeathByLego

    4 жыл бұрын

    Compensators make the recoil less. The extra weight makes the gun jump up less, and its ported on the top so it pushes the gas up-and the barrel down. Also decreasing recoil. They do Work!

  • @thundertmf

    Жыл бұрын

    @@BlackAceDeathRose I struggled with this decision, the problem I had with the frame mounted HK comp was its god awful bulk, plus the fact that it drops the picatinny rail lower, making light activation wonky should I choose to go that way, on the other hand, the PMM comp on barrel does prohibit the removal of the barrel from the slide, but at worst its only going to affect cleaning ease, which does not impact gun function like lowering the picatinny rail or added bulk to the weapon like the HK comp does, so I went with the PMM comp, now hopefully i wont have trouble installing it, i bought a jarvis threaded barrel for the VP9, this pistol is not my carry piece, i'm just trickin it out a little as a range gun, my carry piece is a USP compact 9

    Why didn`t you made a "H&K P90c" (FN P90 on 10mm) just like in "Fallout 2" (RPG) 10x20mm or 9x19mm (on 9x19mm it will be something like this in "Fallout 2" world: damage 10-15; distance 270-220 meters; ammo 27 bullets; speed 9 shots per second)??? On 10x20mm FN P90 is just like "FN FAL 7,62mm" or "Rifle Colt 5mm" at damage, distance and etc... In internet "fallout 2 weapons" you can see the characteristics of H&K P90c 10mm (ammo 24 bullets; speed 12 shots per second), FN FAL 7,62mm, AK-112 5mm ("Assault Karabine" it`s not russian AK, it`s "Rifle Colt")...
