Glad I channel. I am much more educated thanks to you. I bought a V P 9 after retired from the Feds, 20 year LEO. I love the VP 9 it's the most accurate sidearm I have ever fired. I was shocked with shot group firing weak hand. I fired close to 600 rounds that day. That was 8 years ago.

you guyss need an install video for these triggers.

Someone had asked if these screws need any Loctite. The OT screw is a nylon patch set screw and should be tight in the threads when customers receive it from HKParts. However, Loctite is recommended if the screw feels loose. Before installing the trigger in a pistol, if the OT screw feels loose in the threads then it is recommended to apply a liberal amount of blue Loctite to the threads of the screw. The screw should be hard enough to turn that it flexes the .050 Allen key when turning

@@Mk7Poorsche same here. Was never able to adjust the overtravel. Even put my hardened tools on it. At this point, I am out a $25 allen key and the cost of the trigger. That was the main reason I purchased it

Mine was so loose that even DRY FIRING was enough to cause it to move. Thank god it was moving in the "more overtravel direction" as opposed to the "gun won't fire" direction. I ended up applying vibratite, but if that doesn't work i'll just use loctite.

What about all that length of pull? Got any thing to get rid of that? I'm not a fan of the amount of travel before the "wall."

Anyone else have any experience with the Heckler & Koch USP Compact V7 DAO? The trigger pull on this variant is horrible. Its super heavy and feels like you're squeezing on a lime! Lazy Wolf..if you read this...can you help with just that trigger pull and not all the additional bells and whistles?

It’s anodized aluminum

After installing the F2 trigger. It will not reset with my finger on the trigger if I add normal pressure. If I very light finger pressure the trigger will reset. I also adjust the over travel. The trigger breaks then I cock it back. It will reset with out my finger on it as well. All the springs used are factory springs as well. How do I fix this?

I know this is a 2 year old comment, but the issue is that you installed the trigger return spring incorrectly. Doing it incorrectly makes it so that you have basically no reset force (you'll notice extremely light take up). If you're installing the stock TRS, you have to grip it hard enough that it doesn't rotate in the pliers, and you basically have to get it to flex such that the short and long leg are at a 90 degree angle (initially its 45 degress). Make sure you use the HKparts pliers, and don't grip TOO hard or else you'll warp the TRS and render it useless.

They are not responding to these comments. My Allen key was way too tight. Even for professional tools. Broke a $25 MIP driver. They are likely the best in the business when it comes to small Allen drivers. The whole point of the trigger was to remove overtravel. Now I have a flat faced trigger with more travel than stock

I enjoyed the video. But here is my thought on this. You are spending hard earned money to purchase a firearm with a crap trigger. Once you get it home. Then you have to spend more money for the upgrade. If you are not familiar with firearms, you have to send it out to have it installed by a gunsmith. Wait on the turnaround time and hope that he is not busy. Let's not forget the shipping cost. Why not purchase a better firearm.

Maybe bacause almost all weapons, even from the best brands, have the same overtravel problem... and many other problems. Trigger stops are made for bulseye guns, of course they help in rapid fire, but are bulseye devices. After many rounds smething is worn out or bent and the gun just won't go off. In theory they are range devices, not combat devices.

Absolutely terrible triggers. Safety literally snapped in half on the range, and then my dumb ass bought another - which failed to function without catching on itself. If you’re using these triggers for duty or conceal carry, this is your warning.

LWG, myself, is the design consultant for the LWG VP9 Triggers. These are QA, manufacturing, and user installation issues that will be addressed in upcoming videos. I as LWG stand behind anything I offer with my name attached, and I will absolutely address any issues immediately and work with HKParts to make certain they are made to spec and live up to the mantra of No Compromise. I would sooner close the doors to my business, than allow the name I’ve worked so hard to achieve be drug through the mud. The vast majority of triggers sold to my in knowledge are running perfectly and are as robust and reliable as any factory part. Any mass produced complex product has a rate of attrition, and again to my knowledge that percentage is very small relative to the many tens of thousands sold. Rest assured, if there’s any inherent issues in the process or design I will not rest until it’s solved, or my name won’t be on it.
