You guys need to tune up your AI narrator. It mispronounces the word "Voyager" by enunciating "voya-gur," instead of "voya-jer." I would have thrown my hands up and told it to call the probe "veejer."

What if "other life" is us and we are in a protected area with a big sign that says "Don't feed the humans"?

Before the JWST I would consider the signals might be extraterrestrial, but now not so much.

It’s as if we are to be afraid of Aliens in Space but I’m quite embarrassed about how terrible humanity is to itself. I’m sure any “aliens” with intelligence will pass to another planet because we are not impressive. We aught to care more about treating our neighbor the way we wish to be treated, not planning on total destruction because of war. Oh humanity… will we ever learn?

The chances are that any other intelligent species will have the same problems as humans have. I do NOT buy into the notion that any other intelligent species will be superior to us in any way.

As a race, we are only 300,000 years old, if the current science is be accepted. Compared to the generally accepted age of the planet that is a mere 0.007%. We are still in our infancy. Besides, altruism is not the standard by which anyone should be judge.

If a similar space craft like Voyager flew through our solar system today would we even notice it? We don't even track meteors the size of Voyager. Imagine such a craft, that had the answer we long for, doing a flyby after 5 billion years of waiting and we don't even see it. I think it's time to go back to watching the Donald Trump trials. It's more upbeat.
