LYRICS:
Sinking to feel all the pain that hides below the surface
Though wounds have healed
The skin will save the scars to show the burden
Chaos quantified
The suffering they will justify
It’s the difference between
The sound and the silence
The making of tyrants
It’s easy to see through the eyes of a nihilist
Suspending our belief
Until we start to see
Something resembling a sentence that’s genuine
Another lie meant to pacify
The crisis of meaning that’s only increasing
The difference between
The sound and the silence
The making of tyrants
Are the hands of the free
Always destined to be bound by the violent?
It’s easy to see through the eyes of a nihilist

An acid etched edgy Alternative Metal-Rock sound is simply intoxicating, who doesn't mimic or repeat any historical president from past evolutions within the genre; however, VOWER offers everyone a excellent view forward into the next step of a more transformative excitement towards a thrill-killed textured development pathway into a Post-Punk development. Others may not hear this ― This reviewer usually stays mainly focused on Post-Punk, Goth, Dark-wave music, yet by chance this Apricity album fortuitously leaped by into view by the all-knowing algorithm's profile. Most instead would simply be pigeonholing VOWER into the usual classifications, alternatively there exist a substantial vocal difference which is refreshing and is somewhat consciously reduced by the vocalists honesty with an all natural cadence and texture. Others performers would simply drag the listener through a field of guttural expressions, but that's exactly what mentally lingers, separating VOWER('s) intensity into a truly sublime differentiation. While this genre has saturated Western Europe's music aesthetics, there was a point of realization when noticing VOWER derived from Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom's residence, which is freshly unique. When Britain's go beyond conventional trope's and effortlessly readjust into a bespoke convention, then it expands the sphere of influence. That opening guitar sequence could quite easily become an obsessive earworm, with no other remedy than for religious repetition until the fever breaks. A excellent backup guitarist, who adds such blistering uniquity, that it's like discovering a vintage Ferrari, which grandfather had forgotten about it's purchase from a younger lifetime ago, hidden underneath copious ruminant's of lesser valued treasures (every family has one such relative) within the darkened recesses inside a jam-packed barn. "There's far more here, than too simply hear; only if, one decides to look beyond a familiar reflection.... !!!!" ― Raven Shadow (Author and Publisher: "A Remnant's Pleasures") Many thanks to VOWER for making this a beautiful adventure, indeed..... !!!!

The chorus express quite well the meaning of the title. It makes you feel that, like tonally going that path and instead of keep going it quits scaling up half way because of that nihilism. Frustrating. This life is fugazi.
