I have a feeling that hudson is somehow involved with the mole or as a mole, (kidnappig of david, killing of alex) and he paid it with his life. There are some dialogue in BO1 and 2 that can interpreted that hudson is indeed involved with some things.

Given how old reznov already was he’s definitely alive as he was fighting just the same as he did in waw. Also of the characters you put on the board hes the ONLY one who’s body was not confirmed (a big thing in bo1 as krevchenkos body isn’t confirmed therefore he’s alive) and the effects of his death aren’t seen. The big three dracovich Steiner and krev all show the effects of their death, being their reign of terror coming to an end. Mason is the same, David never meets his father and had he lived canonically then we would’ve seen David meet mason like bo2 but it never happened. But reznov? All we see is his truck slow down on the road and that’s it, and the effects? None. News of his death never comes to mason, and Hudson saying he died in vorkuta well unless this mission takes places DIRECTLY after vorkuta he wouldn’t even know. Vorkuta is a Russian prison so why would a cia handler have that information? Also that blueprint appears to be the building you enter in vorkuta with the pushable floor shield, right before you wield a fist a of iron. The bombed out building with the two stairs

woods getting his revenge was the coldest kill in bo2.

If you look carefully you will see that Reznov is Not in the truck. The truck is empty when Mason jumps to the train.

A crazy statement but Reznov may of survived, they never showed his dead body; this could connect where Mason when for 30 years if him surviving is the black ops 2 canon ending.

Mason lived through BO2, the cannon ending had Mason being shot and going into hiding before meeting with David after Menéndez is killed.

What if the manor used to be Reznov's old mansion/home but was taken over by the KGB after the Vorkuta outbreak. They capture and interrogate Reznov at the end of the outbreak and is imprisoned again or killed. But they find and take over his house too. Seems interesting. 😮

Bro! You forgot one tiny detail the scene where Reznov rescues your team in the desert in BO2. Woods says he doubts he was there, but how tf did they survive then? They’re in the middle of Afghanistan during a War and the US isn’t suppose to be there. My guess 100% Resnov is gonna serve some kind of role in this game.

If you look at Mason at 6:16, you'll notice that he's wearing both shirt and overcoat, similar to what Perseus and kravchenko were in Cold War and Black Ops 1 respectively. Isn't this interesting? (Can we say that kravchenko could have been Perseus? even Mason as Sleeper agent??)

I think the safe house will play a big role in this campaign. In the event there was even a split second footage of someone shooting and behind him was the safe house. At some point in the campaign I think they’ll realise who that building belonged to and what it had/has inside.

Idk if mason is dead... Hear me out, if you got a jump suit that could be like mason is imprisoned. Or he could be alive because the truth lies. Which could be like all the devs are lying because that's what they want us to believe. Idk maybe I'm going crazy.

I remember that General Chernov in the KGB mission in black ops cold war mentions something about a Nikita so this leads me to believe that Dragovich is actually still alive, and why not, I think its more believable than anyone else coming back, Lev and Steiner were both shot in the head so yeah, 200% I think it could be Dragovich and he safely got away in any of the number of submersible vehicles that were in the base.

Reznov died in the prison before even knowing mason as what was told in the black ops 1, Reznov is used as an implanted character in mason’s head but the will of Reznov is so strong so he went against what was planned for Mason. Can you tell me what made you think they went back to Reznov knowing he’s dead? Thanks

Reznov supposedly died on the way out of vorkuta when he was separated from mason in the truck. Everything that happened before that was resnov and everything after was a hallucination

I’m still banking on the idea that Troy Marshall is Bowman’s son “undercover” ain’t no way by coincidence they’re going to leave him out and have a black dude as a main character in this game. Maybe I’m wrong but it is black ops….

I was looking at the location of the old vorkuta prison on google maps couple days ago. Nothing but grassland now.

That is the floor plan of the safe house, and you can use google's image translation functionality to translate the map from Russian to English

I really really think that Reznov survived and was captured right after he drove off. I think that he was taken back to vorkuta prison at the time, but I don’t know that was just a theory I made in one theory already in one of of inkslashers older video when he talked about Reznov

Reznov will show up… as a corpse. Think about it, Reznov would be in his 70s by the 90s, he knows about Nikita Dragovich’s agendas and the murder of Soviet Hero Dimitri Petrenko and the Nova-6 gas strike via sleeper agents. With that knowledge and him being the leader of the prison riot in Vorkuta, why would the Soviets let him live? They would kill him on the spot. The moment Reznov’s truck was stopped, the guards would have killed him without hesitation and either burn it or toss him into a ditch somewhere so none can find and identify him. On top of that, Reznov being dead makes the plot of BO1 and 2 much more impactful, he knows he would die in the attempt, but at the very least his entire effort ensured Mason escaped and enact his vengeance. It makes the whole plot of Black Ops with him being a figment of Mason’s imagination post Vorkuta much more meaningful. Now bringing him back with some contrived plot twists to retcon him being still alive this whole time just makes BO1 cheap and pointless. Even Woods in BO2 during the Old Wounds flashback said that if it was Reznov saving Mason and the crew then he might have stuck around to explain a few things. In short for the nu-COD kids: Reznov was dead. Move on. Some characters died terrible deaths that we wouldn’t even know about or hope to find the corpse for burial or closures. Such is the fate of some soldiers IRL, and that was what Treyarch circa 2010 wanted to get across while also giving you an entertaining and coherent campaign.
