A spherical shell with charges
A charge +Q is located in the center of a metal (conducting) spherical shell of radius R and thickness d. The shell carries a charge -2Q.
1) Make a drawing of (a section through) the spherical shell and indicate all regions that are important for considering the electric field.
2) Find an expression for the electric field vector where r is the distance from the center of the shell.
3) Make a graph of the electric field amplitude E as a function of the distance to the center r.
4) Indicate in the drawing and describe where charges are located.
