Excellent review and wonderful vehicle. Very expensive and in a class by itself. Between the Golf R Sportwagen and the others.

So this V60 AWD comes with a D4 "Drive-E", not the old D4 (i assume it's 5-cylinder)? i thought AWD models never come with the Drive-E powertrain (except the new SPA XC90) cause if you check out the official Swedish website of Volvo Cars, the D4 AWD model is still 2.4L 5-cylinder. so where on the earth does this D4 Drive-E AWD V60 come from? or is it sold in other countries but not Sweden?

Jerry Chen yeah new Drive-E is all 4-cylinder! At least those ones dominate now in Germany. Might be different in Sweden

Great review, Rebel Blue is an amazing color. How was the infotainment compared to Audi MMI and BMW iDrive?

Thanks! Indeed Rebel Blue is amazing. The infotainment system works kinda the same way (turning left/right button with an OK and BACK button), but the main control button sits near the screen and not in the middle console like in a BMW. So its not that good when you try to use it while driving - what manufacturers now want to avoid due to safety issues. As for model year 2014, there is a new digital radio streaming function which worked well while testing.

The Haldex AWD and Drive E (especially in T6 2.0 twincharger form) is epic, but the biggest complaint is that you can't have both at the same time. If you want AWD, you have to go with the old 3.0 turbo I6 which is smooth & sounds great but thirsty or get the Drive E 2.0 twincharger I4 with normal FWD. Which sucks.

Trades46 Yep, same with the XC60. No AWD with Drive E. Most people dont need the AWD though.

***** In Germany probably not. In Canada where there's snow every 1/2 a year, 90% of BMWs are sold with xDrive, Mercedes with 4matic and 99% Audis are sold with quattro. AWD makes up a giant slice of the market in Canada for premium manufacturers.

Trades46 True, for Europeans its rather irrelevant except for the alps regions. Canada is surely more about AWD!

the colour rebel blue is awesome in your video. but I am not shure if you sell the car you will not get many buyers. either you like the colour pretty much or you really dont like it.Never seen one in this colour on the streets in germany.

forestchurch True point. I also absolutely love the colour. But most car buyers are rather conservative, when it comes to colours. But then again, you might just find the other freak wanting exactly that colour :)

you say it's not very suitable for drifting because of its ESP, which prevents drifts even when turned off, and then you drift the car all around.

***** I get your point. But that's not really hard drifting. Please check out our Golf R video - then you see what we mean by real drifting withouth ESP :)
