Finally a boss who actually realises the driver is the best asset to the company and not the vehicle..what a refreshing change as most companies now expect a lot from drivers in return for very little
When company lets you customize your own truck, that's a COMPANY.

really late answer, but he does that to keep the drivers, its cheaper to let a guy put on alot of extra stuff and he will stay in the company, than giving him a shit truck, and have to get new drivers all the time

It's a smart company! "he takes care of the truck like it's a second home" Going to guess that those extra lights and DVD player has paid for itself many many times.
Stunning scenery and a really beautiful Volvo, wish we had the cabovers in the USA
respect for that 25 years old guy and he could customize the truck :) amazing video
Wonderful video!!!
thanks for this video....!!
I have really enjoyed this video. Awesome trucks, drivers and director. Good luck to tenden !
Very nice video, thanks!
If this is true, drivers have good conditions in this company. Thumbs up! :)
Bellissimo Video!!!
The biggest asset is a skilled driver of every each company. That's the biggest factor in trucking industry this days...like this video very much...Best regards from Canada...also driving Volvo VN. US.Model...Cheers.Mike
Super driving
Hats off to Håvard. Also I want a boss like Tenden, man was he smart and rewarding.

Hat of? A man like him that dont even tell his drivers to behave on the roads is not worth respect. His drivers act as they own the roads and force any oncoming trafic in to the ditch
Norway's worst road is the E18 at Baerum. On Friday. The day before school holiday.
Mycke bra video!
I hav driven there houndreds of times with a regular car. They are working to improve this road now:)
Nice video, great trucks

Volvo #1 from US
very very interesting !
Nice
The competition for Norways worst road is pretty hard. I'm not sure if this ones my choise... but nice vid.
This is a great company the boss thinks about hes staff
They are narrow but Norway seems to cope ok. I do miss Norway, Beautiful
honestly, when i drove over the mountain with road conditions like shown at worst in this video, i had trouble keeping up with the trucks. some were doing 90km/h ++
Thord Paulsen place... from ice road rescue 😮😮
Hi, have you already started the restoration of your old 141 Scania, which I spotted at the back of your yard?? I have passed your company by incidence in summer 2009 when I was on holiday in Norway by motorbike. Gorgeous landscape and nice people up there. This road after I have passed your company was really tight for trucks... My 141 project is nearyl finished, but my F89 is awaiting restoration... best wishes from Germany and from V8Operator !
True.
the worst road in Norway still much much better than the best road in my country.... the worst road in my country is even worse than the surface of Mars

@MegaZsolti thanx :))
why dont you guys run bogie drive with cross locks for traction we do in oz pulling 100 ton plus any way good video
That's Boss
Well, if you absolutely depend on getting really good drivers, as he said, then allowing people to customize their cars, and make them the way they want them to be is a pretty cheap way to make your drivers happy, and therefore loyal. Sounds a lot like common sense to me, actually.
If you're from ex-soviet republic any kind of road that's flat and doesn't have potholes and bumps is good.
Why are both axles not powered?
I would work for him!
i was in norway about 3 weeks ago with a freind of mine and i was impressed in my opinion the most beautifull trip i ever made and i have being all over europe with the truck Nice people overthere and not so fucked up as in the rest of europe
He now's what a truck is!
lol I drive dere atleast one time a year cuz my grandparents are living in Stryn
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Det rimer jo perfekt med en bredde på vogntoget på 2,5 meter… ;)
everything is fine
i'm from sweden, and i think that we here in scandinavia have great winter driving skills, and good equipment for the task, BUT there is one thing that we need to learn from americans, MORE TANDEMS!!!! it's usually only logging trucks that has tandem here, of course systems like Onspot and "slirej" are scandinavian inventions, but tandem combined with those systems is KING! well, yes it cost's more, and you get more tyre wear with tandem, But hell, YOU GET WHERE YOU WANT IN THE SNOW!!!
Yeah we truckers in norway are usaly payed about 150-250Kr per hour wich is 25-45 bucks per hour... And usaly days are about 5-8 hours of driving
Jeg heter også Håvard Nesje!
Jeg liker på kjører i companen,
@123456789mischief Thats very common in scandinavia, to have a tag axle and not a boogie drive, even many log trucks are 6x2, Its very much preferable, trucks more manaurable, and you can add a lot of press on the drive. Some also have 6x4, but still they have lift on the rear axle, to add press, if its icy, you do not need 4 spinning wheels, you need pressure on the wheels.
They cant complain south in norway that its small roads and that.. if u go to north norway and drive here u will se what steep and small roads mean.. spesial in wintertime..
missing one thing from then i drived volvo, thats the new I-shift. But the Scania is worth driving anyway, v8 and i means its better comfort in Scania, Better place, no cold metall and dont sitting with the face into the front window, :) driving often these roads there :)
If u see, 10 Meters of 90 degreeds solid right by road isnt easy to fix.No kind of roads like this exist in Usa.Norway's land texture is a bit diffrent :)
would you like to spend enormus sums to build four-lane highways with hundresds of bridges and long tunnels for only 5 million people? Yes this road isn't the best example, but in general I can say that the norwegian road network is sufficent and in a good shape
@G13Xtrem And where do you think they find their Volvos? No offense Bolivian truckers are tough and deserve respect
*En av de verste. Det er definitivt flere like ille.
he drives there, so do i :) no big deal :)
@hallep9 Er vel heller snakk om å specce bilen riktig. Største problemet er vel at euroboggien ikke er ment for norske forhold Scania anbefalte vel i sin tid Hchassiet til Norske brukere
This definitely isn't Norway's worst road.
i'm a norwegian and know of these fucked up roads and it's EVERYWERE! many ugly places you easely can lost your life!
Norway's worst roads? Isn't that just all the roads?
We want IRT Norway
Вы блин в России попробуйте проехать зимой.....то же мне, плохие дороги в Норвегии ))) Они там просто идеальные !
wow, all stuck. suprise..
No idea how Norway does it.
Lastebilene er godt over to meter bred.
it`s not the worst road here in norway! try to driv the old Åkra fjorden then you got a narrow road. it is to plases to met other cars, and on the rest or the road you have 30 centimeter clerens thats the worst road in norway. lukly it closed for some year ago! now we got a new road that haf a meter wider :)
Applies for all "serious" transporters in Norway. :)
norway you know!
i was expecting something like a crashing truck?
haukeli e verre
Worst road? Hmmm, i have seen many roads around in Northern Norway that is much much worse, people actually take another rout that takes longer, but have better roads. And these roads i have seen are kinda on they're last straw, you can't drive 2 sec without hitting a bump or a hole in the road that could be up to 1000 km long.
Nei, nettopp.
Good skills, but road is not narrow,, take a look in bolivia: the road of death. Ok, they don't have snow and ice.
@xpsghawkx actually, while I agree that our roads are 70% nice and straight, the rest are not. Based on your profile, you are in Norway, and I doubt that you have ever driven on our roads. Western states, like Colorado, Wyoming, Utah etc. fall under that rest 30%. For example, when it snows in those states, most of the time our major interstate 80 gets closed. Imagine what happens to the smaller highways and routes which you have to take to deliver freight. Your comment is ignorant.
Hmm, i have seen worse roads in norway...
Haha that comment is so true. They can't even handle a normal highway in Sweden.
vodka ,power? :-)
@FatasMe i know, what more can u ask for :P
if it was illegal to sale trucks without tandem or front axle drive, then it would be more fair play for the companys as everyone will pay for that extra cost, and the roads won't get blocked as soon as it falls one inch of snow! But of course US trucks also looks better than our ugly compact cab-over shit, but our trucks are better made and has a lot more safety features and comfort.
@rhesuskongen Irt norway with europian drivers only!
This is nothing compared to the roads down to Dalen and there are worse roads in Norway trust me I have joined my dad on trips with his Scania and its nothing like this.

Norwegians*
det gjør jo ikke det
if only Girteka and Vlantana had done the same. :) they go in the ditch in norwegian winter roads every year because they dont know how and when to put on chains and they drive on worn out summer tyres!! and the government doesnt do shit about it!
Thats why we use boats
Thats easy when your landscape is mostly flat.

Do you call norway flat?
Som om hele norges befolkning bor på østlandet.
If It's your truck than you souldn't ask if you can customize it, lol...
