Very good videos! Yes, you said it too, it's about the battery capacity, even so...we have to consider what the car is made for and what is the price. Overall, the result are quite good! Is a car that bought with full specification is 52-55K Euro...and consider that with 10% battery it goes under 7s...if we compare with a Skoda Enyaq vRS or the Audi version of vRS, those cars have 6 to 7 s acceleration with full battery and the price of them is over 60K or even over 70K bought with full specification. The new version of vRS, with the bigger battery might have over 5 s, but even so...

lol at 10% its still a second faster to 100 than my '24 Niro EV at 100% 😅🤣🤣

I changed to summer tires last week and i can confirm that the EX30 is noticeably noisier. With the winter tires it’s in my opinion nice and quiet. Tires are 19” 235 Michelin studless, summer are 245 20” Goodyear

Thats how it goes when you need brakes to handle all the power. If it was 100kw engine it perhaps could manage with a softer suspension.

of course the Goodyears are noisier, like didn't you checked the tire label? you should get the Pirelli P-Zero (PZ4) or the Continental Eco Contact 6 Q if you wanna have quiet tires

Tempted to buy one of these awd version

Current limit vs Power Limit, my DIY BLDC controller has both, Good EV's will use Power Limit ( Limit motor power by Watts instead of Amps ), using power limit will ensure same acceleration no matter SOC ( if power limit is set for 10-20% SOC )

Please do the same test on a 2024 c40 twin

Now the only thing I’m missing is the in depth interior review

Did you compare the times for "Normal" 2WD and "Performance" AWD .. as there is a slight delay when the front motor cuts in when in "Normal" 2WD and accelerating hard (a bit like turbo lag)

This was all done in Performance Mode. Would be interesting to see the speeds in comparison though

For me personally, a 0-100 km/h time of 6 point something seconds is plenty. I don't need much more than that, and I value consistent acceleration times across different states of charge far higher.

Its strange. Your the only one saying its noisy of the videos Ice watch. Most testers of the car says is not that noisy. I'm not saying your wrong but whats the difference is between your car and theirs? Saw someone in this thread saying it was different with winter tires but not with summer tires. Could tires do this thing or roads?

I'd be more interested in stopping distances. A lot of the big heavy and extremely fast electric SUVs may be quite bad (and potentially more dangerous) in this respect. I don't think many people think their EV isn't fast enough.

I tried this out during my test drive. The brakes are nice and strong even from high speed.

On the normalized data the Volvo seems as bad as the MG4 xPower.

Incorrect. EX30 is faster 0-100 km/h.

As a retired couple we could not care less on speed tests. Range and speed of charge is our priority. Looking forward to 2025 models and software to reach consumers.
