Volvo Amazon Restoration - Part 4

My 1969 volvo amazon had a bad head. While that is at the shop we are going to weld and paint the complete car!
This car has been bought by me on the 20th of april 2022 and has been driven half a year as a daily. That was around 13.000 kilometers.
The engine will be back soon so we need to start fixing the rust problems on the car!

If i have the chance to dedicate my life to restoring cars like this one i will. I'm starting my own restoration shop later this year if everything works out. I love doing this. No matter how much rust 😊

Awesome how well the door shuts in the end :) Hopefully the fender will fit as well after welding in the panel there :P

Hahahaha i was wondering if anyone would watch it all the way to the end to notice that part 😂 That door never closed to my liking before. and after seeing the holes in the pannel i wasn't surprised about it. The whole thing was flexable. So i was very happy when it closed with only a single push 😂💪
Mate,I suggest You should be using welding primer when overlapping panels,it’s awesome stuff and will protect this overhited steel covered.i was using Förch L 208 everyware in my Amazon sins I was replacing about 60 % of the body 😅,I have to say Yours is not too bad ,great work keep fighting!this car is wort that.
