Incredible. I just saved a wagon 850 as well a year ago. Block changed and so on. I wish my interior was this clean tho..

Try to get an cluster with the info gauge. Everything fits, the fuel infos, a digital km counter etc. The only thing you had to put on is the temperature sensor (in front bumper on the left side) from a salvage yard...and your 'life balance' will get better 🙂 Your Volvo is great 👍

About radio and speakers - factory radio uses other ohm spec of speakers, so you Will probably need to replace to the factory ones if you want to use factory SC radio, or you can buy an adapter for Hu-850 or Hu-1205 from s/v40, they are using most popular ohm spec of speakers, and only need an adaptor, else if you want an aftermarket radio, then you can go with 1 din bolt on, as in your car, or you'll need to cut a place for radio in your radio mount for 2 din, and it's not looking pretty tbh

Thanks for the info! We want to do a roadtrip through europe in honor of dad once we finish the restoration and for that reason we want to install a double din radio/nav.

@@MusTRitch You can try to go with HU-1205, but i'm not sure that navigation system will work properly on it, but 2 DIN radio will require some cutting

Lol….just replaced my dimmer switch too. I have never seen a dash pad without an airbag insert. Let me know if you ever come across one in good shape.

I'm trying to get the black trim part that's under the dash pad, like right above where your knees go but I have no idea what that's called lol I have it in beige but I think the black looks really nice

Hi I have a question. Can you help me and say what cable is responsible for speedometer lighting ? In my 850`s i have a problem with lightning, when i change position of adjuster brightness nothing gonna happend.

Hey, not sure about what cable that is. We would have to look up a diagram for that. Maybe a stupid question but are you sure it's not the switch itself or the lightbulbs in the cluster? In our case it was both😅

Well, where are from? We found ours on an online second hand market and have been searching for a couple of weeks until this one popped up. We would suggest to do the same.
