And you know the judges barely know what to do with it. Because letter of the law its still a part of their body, but there is no way at all they could control that situation to award a point off something so absurdly unlikely. Do you go with the rule as written, or appeal to common sense?

@@Sumguyinavan_ Obviously common sense. It is the one external part of the human body that you can't control the motion of. It shouldn't count as a touch.

@@siriusstella2626 you can put your hair in a bun, as she did, so you can control it. the rule is the rule. if youre allowed to use your foot and buttcheek to save the ball, you also get called for a touch with your hair for blocking purposes at least

Yes it is sexism and the google search I did said “the longer shorts moved too much. They would creep into uncomfortable places. The players would find themself tugging at them.” As a volleyball player the tight spandex are more comfortable to play in, but I see both sides.
