She's amazing! What an athlete, what a great volleyball player! So smart!

I only follow volleyball tangentially but ended up catching Stanford vs Texas on TV and fell in love with the way Texas plays, then found out that the final four was being held nearby and on a whim attended the semis, my first time attending a game since high school! Their underdog story for this season is legendary, and I'm really grateful to be able to say I saw a part of it in person

#6 is Maddi Skinner. Remember that name because she is phenomenal and unmatched in the game. That was Texas' second consecutive title but that was Skinner's third.

This man is obviously a great coach. I can't conceive of a better volleyball coach than him. The analysis is so strong. To me, he teaches technique so well. He has a positive vibe even while offering smart helpful critique. You can tell that he is a good guy too. The content is, I hate to repeat myself, so very strong. I am not a volleyball player myself, but if I were, I would try to get him to coach me. Great coach and great video. Thank you!

Reacting to the Tennessee/Texas matchup would be better. That was the only team to push Texas to 5 this tournament.

Great game. Texas had great moments all season but was not consistent. After that Tennessee game, Texas became a different team. Every part of their game came together. 🧡

Texas actually had the best two brh 2 yrs straight Maddie Skinner here and Logan Eggleston the year before, and talking about a bumper check out Bailey Webster in their 2012 Championship

These are my girls..#6 is Madison Skinner and she is an outside hitter and 6 rotation player ( mvp of tournament).. She is 6'2..She has an older sister named Avery Skinner and she is part of the National team USA. I like how you analyzed this game.. In black jersey ( libro) is Emma Halter that has helped and been coached by the National libro of 2022 Zoe Fleck .Madison had big shoes to fill after the National player of the year Logan Eggleston 2022.. She has done an Awesome job! This is one of the best playing performance for Jenna Wanass ( not sure if the spelling is correct) because she had somewhat of a rough year.. I had to comment because I wanted you know some of the players and their name if you did not know.. Right under mvp (Madi) of tournament is Asia O'Neill domonate middle (she is part of National USA team already and this was her last year). She had the most blocks in UT history..Be Blessed!

thank you so much for this!!!!! love your insight. i was surprised with tickets for this match for christmas and those serves were BULLETSSS in-person. i was absolutely losing my mind while the SEA OF RED around me were down in the dumps LOL

Coach, you should react to some of the more recent men's games. It's a crazy season, teams bouncing in and out of first place. Would be fun to have your perspective.

You should react to the Tennessee vs Texas regional semifinal and the Wisconsin vs Texas semifinal! Tennessee was the only team to take Texas to 5 sets in the tournament and the game was a rollercoaster. The Wisconsin team this year was #1 in blocking and #2 (I think) in hitting percentage, but Texas picked them apart with their serves. Coach, I strongly recommend you react to some of the PVF (pro volleyball federation) matches. I think you would LOVE Jill Gillen who plays for Orlando. Undersized 5'7 outside from Arkansas who is an absolute BEAST on the court.

I am overly impressed with #6 Madisen Skinner. Logan Eggleston was great as the player of the year last year, but I believe that Madisen Skinner is even better. She is so smart, such a great leader, has virtually perfect technique, and such an amazing athlete! Next year we have a good chance to win again. Our recruiting coach has been the very best in NCAA Division 1 women's volleyball! She gave us incredible players in addition to the great players we already had ! It may take some time for us to get going, but when we do, we may go on another run like this.

Thank you for showing objectively why Texas beat Nebraska. But, as a coach, we know that that individual plays a big role in how one is prepared mentally for the game AND the coach is responsible for mixing things up. What would you have done if you were Coach Cook?

@@rb012b It's a slippery slope. You run the risk of damaging their confidence and also run the risk of souring the relationship. When Coach Elliott benched Lexi Sun in a crucial playoff game for the exact same reason, she transferred to Nebraska. These top recruits come to play 6 rotations, so...
