Watched Miyaura live during VNL 2023, he was superb filling in for Nishida and made some seriously GOAT level of plays. Can’t wait to see more in the upcoming season!

i love nishida so much and watching miyura play is insane but i think we all jumping the gun a little bit

Both players are completely different. One is a power hitter that comes out to hit hard and serve hard and one is a “iq” player that comes out and hits smart and accurate. I forgot which match it was but nashida got like 6 ace serves in a row coming from bench. One isn’t better then the other they play in the same position but they are completely different players with their own specialty

And even when he smashes the ball cross court, he is still humble and shows great sportsmanship, like at 4:00.

Well, he's literally second best. If nishida didn't get fat and start playing like garbage, miyaura wouldn't play a single match. Being on the bench literally means second best...😂

he never played for Division 3. After finishing College, he immediately played for Division 1 in Jtekt ( season 21-22) Then after that season he played for plusliga in Poland's Division 1 in season 22-23 Now he is currently playing in French League Division 1 season 23-24 where he is currently the number 1 server of the league, with 7 MVPs so far. They keep mentioning that division 3, they don't have accurate information about him He even got the Best Opposite award in Asian Championship back in 2021.

He is. But I think that's more on nishida for dropping the ball than miyaura actually being better.

For me, miyaura is better than Nishida... Just my opinion...

Definitely even none professional volleyball player can do it. GOSH!!!

Definitely not the new nishida as kenyo miyaura is completely playing a different play style than nishida one key difference we can notice here that kento miyaura always hitting at a open spot rather than trying to make a play from opponents blocking like nishida always do. Yes you explained it very well, kento is an accurate hitter, he always see the open spot on other side of the court, that's why he is wonderful and amazing to watch when he play

VBW CHANGE THE THUMBNAIL. Miyaura and Nishida are both indispensable members of JPN MVT! And Miyaura shouldn't live on Nishida's shadows. They both deserve proper recognition.

I think miyaura is actually a better player than nishida right now, he is more technical and his technique is on point, I think nishida has decreased his quality of playstyle over the years tbh, plus the injurie he had in the 2023 vnl didn’t help him out at all, he is still a legend of the sport but if I had to choose one right now i’d go with Miyaura

@@ch3poringoel0tez I think he was pretty cool when he came in, always playing at 110%. Then he went to Italy, got fat, and ran back to Japan, which I consider a huge failure. Very disappointed in him overall.

That information was wrong. The commentators didn't have accurate info about him. He never played in Division 3. He played in Division 1 in Japan, Poland, and currently in France.
