I rented one of these for a move, and couldn't believe how easy it was to drive. I loved it.

I have a 2008 Transporter LWB 2.5 Diesel 130 BHP, this is my fourth one a really superb van, I always buy a new one and I keep it very well, polish it twice a Year, I put Black in a flash on all the plastics, son of a gun on the dash.... it does 30 miles to the gallon I drive very easy but the power is massive........If you buy a van buy a Transporter like the song...... Simply the best......

A bit outdated but I currently have one of these as a temporary van from my work until new vans arrive, it’s the second transporter I’ve had of them and truth be told, VERY comfortable to drive but fuel economy is awful! I had a lwb sprinter before the VW and the difference between the two is just unbelievable, the sprinter was 2 years older than the transporter yet only used maybe quarter of a tank every 3 or 4 days with stop/start multi drop courier work were as the transporter would go through quarter to half a tank ever couple of days. Interior feels so much like a golf though so it feels strong and sporty but don’t like the upright steering wheel position (adjusting the rake and reach does not solve the upright feeling) gearbox is nice and smooth though the clutch feels almost imaginary, you dip the clutch to change gear the revs drop instantly causing a sudden nosedive then again when the revs build up again. Not much pull from the 2.0L 103 tdi engine, and to truthfully honest, you hear the turbo more than you hear the actual engine itself but I like to hear them both working in comparison with each other, I prefer the sound of a Renault trafic in relation to this (as much as I despise Renaults)

I don't see how anyone can comment and say you could compare the Vw to a fiat or Peugeot Citroen piece of junk. Vw are not without problems however the build quality is very good,from the t4 and t5's . they have a cult following for a reason. don't even mention transits and vivaros.

If anybody ever pays full price for a Vivaro then they won't be in business long. Worth mentioning the VW residuals over it's competition as well.

Which engines in the t6 range were euro 6 compliant please?

I've driven one before. The seating position is terrible, so bad that I had a bad leg during a hundred mile drive.

Why every VW has to be so dull and boring. Fiat and PSA are making beautiful delivery vehicles which are so pleasant to see in front of the bakery, coffee shop...

A lot of what you mention is just the same as on the T5 version (dimensions). So, I wish reviewers would concentrate on the new items and improvements if any. And most reviewers mention the same old stuff. Not impressed with you review really.

What's next VW? A super car? Lmao VW fans are gonna say that it's better than Ferrari. Lol
