Awesome tutorial, how did you apply the primer and rust paint, and does the activator comes with spray top?

Well done! Will you drive the car? Might be cool to have it with flat tires. I have always liked the idea of making a barn find-look on one of my cars too. Maybe in the future I will do one.

I just bought the body kit to try it out. I Might buy the Karmann Ghia Full kit one of these days, but for now it's not going on anything. It can definitely get pricey getting the paint and materials but for the most part once you have some of the stuff then you have it for future cars too. That metal effects product I use makes it even easier to get the rusty / patina look also. I shoot a lot of automotive photography w/ vintage Volkswagens and almost all of them are rusty / patina so it was fitting to do the Ghia. The next one if I get the kit i'll probably do up like my Real Ghia. You should do up a car. It's fun to do & you don't have to worry about messing it up because , that's the point lol

@@RCWithAaron You are right, I wouldn´t have to worry about messing it up. :) I usually do all the time when I build them. :) Actually I thought about painting the texture and patina like I did on a modell boat once but I am really curious about the products you used on your car. I think I should check out these metal effects products! Thanks for sharing! You have a real Ghia? Wow, great, I love the car!
