I love how this track slowly builds on itself. It lays out a foundation, and then layer by layer ascends into the sky and ultimately space itself!
I've already lost the number of times I've heard this song. The melodies are SO immersive, Epic song!.

wELL STATED. This fits the scene from the trailer of cyberpunk2077 when the main character loses it after getting a flash of his friend dying
When I try to explain this genre to people, this is the track I pull up. There is a lot of depth in these ~8 minutes.

Then that is just you showing them your favourite track rather than one that represents the genre, since... well, as far as I know, only Volkor X does this kind of stuff with synthwave. The song is dope by the way

Weird... Through the years I have been listening many music genres, black metal, death metal, house, funk, jazz, folk, trance, rock, newmetal, etc etc... I still do but... For the last year Synthwave seems to be the best music genre for me... Maybe because of the djs/composers who really love what they do here...

I come from a similar music background and I completely agree with you. It is the only thing that I feel as innovative and creative this days, it takes the sounds from the 80s to create something new.

I 100% get what you’re saying. Love those other genres too, but Synthwave hits a different nerve. Soul affirming. Love it. So glad you dig it too my dude. We are an awesome community.
This track really gets me hyped. I think it's because the buildup is so GOOD! From just a few notes to a multi-level synth-rock opera and it never drops, it's all anticipation and mounting intensity until the end

Absolute eargasm.
I wish I could comment on the Volkor X post of this song. This is one of my absolute all-time favorites. The build throughout the track conveys so much emotion and power. It tells a whole story without words.
Listening with headphones is the way to go, it's such a rich track.
Goddamn son I could listen to that last part forever.
This man knows how to make music. Its on another level. Deserves more respect

^Definitely John Wick... Its funny to think, but Deckard actually only kills two people (err sorry, 'replicants') in BladeRunner, with one being mostly pure luck and not Deckards skill at killing or anything like that.

Agreed. Its got a little Vangelis to it imo, especially with the lighter notes.
That snare drum hits you like a swift kick to the taint from a steel-toe boot when it finally drops.

This song fits perfectly in the scene in Blade runner 2049 where K finally gets his epiphanic realization of reality and the meaning of the human experience after seeing a repurposed Joi. Its the exact same tone, except this song does a lot to illustrate the release of all the pent up emotion by someone who hasn't accessed them yet. A visual representation is also the music scene in equilibrium.
This song I like. Lots of potencial.
