Personal, i think most bands are better live acctually. Studio is so adjusted, sometimes a Little fake... (spelling is bad, Swedish rocker by the keyboard)

It's because the singer uses a TC Helicon VoiceLive -- he's got a doubling effect, pitch correction, delay (at times) and reverb on. Probably uses the same effects in the studio. I like it personally. I own one myself (A VoiceLive 3) that's how I know. Sounds identical.

His voice and overall performace is so crystal clear it scares me.

Michael usually brings a personal spin to the songs live. But if you enjoy live > album: check out Devin Townsend. Deadhead, Bastard and March of the Poozers are my personal favourites there.

This live version is INSANE.

This band is amazing live, his voice is on tone every note is clear. One of the best singers I ever heard. Hope see them live again.

This full show needs to be made available. Me and 2 mates had a road trip o er from the U. K great trip. And after seeing them again in Dublin and Manchester I can wait to get a new album and tour.

Never seen them live but after watching these videos I can genuinely say they sound the same way they do on the albums. A lot of artists can’t hold notes or do what these guys can do. Amazing!!

How about now, 2 years later? Personally, I'm about to go watch them for the 4th time, here the 18th of october. If you still haven't, I would highly recommend it.

Amazing.

Hard rock/metal songs infused with just enough pop elements to make them catchy and memorable. Played by stellar musicians and a singer with a really unique voice and delivery. That, in a nutshell, describes Volbeat. They really deserve more recognition than they get. I think they're a little too hard for a lot of pop fans and not quite hard enough for a lot of metal fans. I, for one, think they're great!

Amazed at how good they sound live..
