This is such a detailed and clear walktrough! I really like how you indicate each symbol or marker as you step through the game. There's a lot to keep track of in Voidfall!

I tried to watch other videos trying to explain how the game works and found my self lost and not understanding how the game works. this video though is amazing gives you an idea of how the game works and what kind of decision player will take ,, thank you, you got a new sub

Hahahaha I know exactly what you nean Mike.. So far the only 2 games that I've struggled more are Successors 4th edition and Pax Renaissance 2nd edition. J E S U S ! But with Voidfall, once you get the icons- you're good to go

How come you decided to play 2 players rather than use the solo mode?

I think I felt that most people would play this game as a multiplayer and not solo so I wanted to show what happens when you have more than one house, the turn order, the interaction (if any.. wait for thr 3rd video 😉) between the players etc. I feel that if you got the game at 2 players, you can play it at 3 and 4 players. I haven't tried yet the solo mode but from what I saw, there are some things there that will not be necessary for a multiplayer (obviously lol!) I hope I managed to answer the question and thank you for taking your time and watching my video and for commenting 😊😊

@@ezbgames makes sense, thanks for taking the time to explain. Really waiting for 3rd cycle, will be interesting to see how game plays out. BTW, really good way of sharing these games. How you explain, how you edit to show the cards used in the video, your explanations, really makes for an easy video to follow even in complex games like this. Missing a bit some more talk about 'ok, this is why I am doing this now', what is driving the strategy on each player. But that would add time of course, it is quite good how quickly you went through this game while also explaining. Thanks!

Cycle 3 is out and ready so feel free to watch it when you got the time 😊 To be honest, first of all I don't know Voidfall well enough to claim that what I do can be seen as any kind of a strategic advice. I need much more gameplay for that. What is important for me, is to show the viewers AS MANY CARDS AS POSSIBLE so when they play this at home, they already know how different things work because they saw it with me 😊 I hope that makes sense! Thanks for writing to me. I love this feeling of community- it's just awesome! 🤩

@@ezbgames haha thanks! No prob, I know the effort behind such videos (done similar for my work), a lot of time that viewers don't realize. It is a complex game, I follow on the game's discord and Paul Grogan's community and people who have played it many times say they appreciate a lot the depth and challenge. Solo mode adds rules - the same as cooperative - but seems pretty good. I can see what you say, you are more playing tactically, but that's normal. The goal I imagine you had here - to show the game to other people, show what it is about - was very well done. Would really like to get into it, unsure when I will have the time. Now it is sitting in my dining table, opened but unorganized, busy assembling a new 3D printer. Had not noticed video was up, so will watch before sleep. Thanks and have a good weekend!
