Relatable as hell tbh

The event is kinda funny. You steal something from their camp and they proceed to beat you up and throw stuff at you. Its definitely scarier the first time when you least expect it but when you think about it, the entire situation is silly.

I actually came back to my base one day after fixing satellites and found that 2 of my shrimp packs that were sitting on my table were eaten and the shrimp packs themselves were turned upside-down. I don't know if they were eaten by cockroaches or if the aliens broke into my base to eat my shrimp, but i don't think the cockroaches would turn the shrimp packs upside down after they finished eating...

I love how the arirals are just hanging out in the forest, having picnics, and building a tree house. They're scary when you don't know anything about them, but they're just a bunch of goofballs

I mean I'd be pissed too if some hairless monkey would keep stealing my lamp on my interplanetary camping trip

I can imagine two arirals are just sitting on the two beds, and you walk up to them and they’re just like “if we stay quiet they won’t notice us.” And later when he leaves and takes the lamp they take their chance to strike and bombard him with props.

I don't know what's more strange; interstellar aliens building a camp out of _wood,_ or the fact that they seem to be T-posing to assert dominance

This is my first edited video. This is a niche game which I love to play and I hope you will enjoy or maybe even play this game.

I tried to steal ome of those cool beds from the campsite once. Made it halfway back to base only to be attacked and watch as the Ariral took the bed back.

“I decided to get it over with and confront it.” Proceeds to run for his life

I just noticed, the invisible Ariral is T-POSING... It's very hard to see but if you look very close at 6:25 here.... You can notice the T-Pose.. Interesting that they have no animations for such a difficult to see creature such as the Ariral.

​@@fatcat420 I think the dev should give the Arirals at least a bit of animation, It'd probably give it a bit of an easier/harder to see profile to fit the fact they're 8'2" but this one looks to be 6'2" which leads me to believe that this one lives on the unhealthy side of their planet. Also jumping off of the radio tower and just simply living from the fall, makes me wonder if we play as a shorter Ariral that 'ran away from home' so to speak.. There's something to speculate on! I say that because apparently according to their lore, they can survive a fall from a plane, but they will be unconscious from the pain. Arirals are quite interesting.... and super cute. Also the doll of Argemia is smug and cute as hell. lol

@@MaliceVanguardTF2 I think the main reason we don't take fall damage (or any damage at all) is mainly cuz the game is still unfinished and the player damage feature is still experimental. I think we still play as a regular human because our supervisors would notice we're not human when we even signed up for the job. And The Argemia plushies do look cute (though i haven't found any if them before).

​@@fatcat420 The lack of fall damage to me is really funny and makes for some slick escapes when it comes to getting stuck in places without an ATV because of some of the bugs that you can do. I can guess yes we're human but I can imagine us being an Ariral for the time being. Also the fact that Arirals can hack through a 'complex' [to humans] number combo on a keypad just proves their insane intelligence.

idk if they leave after a long time, but if you can distract them with a kerfus, they'll steal it and run away with out ragdolling you and you get to keep the items. got the nv goggles, that lamp and a bed from them and got to keep them.

1. I dont have a kerfus 2. There's no way I'd let them take kerfus even if I had one. I'd rather have them walk around my base for a while and see if they go away than sacrifice kerfus. P.s: I've heard about these night vision goggles before but didn't see them near the camp area, when/where do they spawn?

Maxed out my rep with them and then took the water gun and goggles. Just in case, I left 4 shrimp packs in their treehouse, which seemed to restore the points I lost from stealing. They _never_ retaliated nor took back their stuff. So I'm guessing high rep prevents retaliation?

I like that they don’t even kill you or anything, they just wanna throw you on the ground once

aww they have little cushions to sleep on. they were just mad that you stole their lantern lol also i think they were using a heater, maybe earth is too cold for them? then again sleeping in the woods without a finished house is probably pretty chilly

This is the only video where i can actually see the t-posing model, in every single other video i can barely tell where it is or sometimes dont even see anything at all

so i decided to confront it. *runs away*

Ngl, it low-key scared me when it tried throwing to rock at me.. this game gives me nightmares

In the middle of the night, one of the Arirals broke a ventlid on the roof, jumped down with it and threw it at me, ragdolling across the room before running away

I never pissed them off or stole anything so hearing their rapid footsteps as they relentlessly perused you was freaky

I think they just chase you and knock you down regardless of your relationship with them.

I wonder if rufus could kill it. Take lantern to base, summon 20 different rufus, wait beside window in hopes they touch a rufus.

Great video, you should check out a game called The Indigo Parallel it is a super weird horror game I think you will like it

You no clipped out the map. The physics in VotV are still wonky, so sometimes if you get knocked out badly you'll just end up falling outside the map. Then the game thinks you're trying to "escape" the forest and puts you in this endless dark maze forever as punishment.

I used the password changer which you can buy from the shop. It costs 200 credit I think. I bought it in hopes of preventing any unwanted visitors from coming in. However, as seen in my sequel video, that didn't actually work out. It says work in progress on the shop so I suppose it's justified.. But for now, I don't think it actually serves any purpose, though I could be wrong.

Yeah, in the version this was recorded on, they used to t-pose. Though I'm not sure how they look in the newer version.
