One thing I will say about VoicePlay fans- we may be smaller in number than others, but we are absolutely dedicated to the group and their music, and I like to think that we try to reflect the innate goodness that these gentlement embody. We will also always be at the vanguard of any discussion, trying to promote these deserving artists, because their independence- while essential to the development of their sound- has left them without the promotion a label provides. And you know as well as we do that these guys deserve so much credit and attention and love for all they do. VoicePlay are the very definition of what an artist is, and we VoicePlay fans will always show up for them!!

I second that comment. Voiceplay fans reflect the members personalities. These guys are genuinely happy goofy guys. All of their collaborators and former members as well. Everyone looks forward to their and Geoff's monthly Patreon chats because they are so much fun. And Definitely not professional. More like a bunch of friends sitting in a chat room talking and laughing.

Eli (and Layne) arranged this one - poor Eli built more than half of the set whilst the others were on Spring break. I took found Voiceplay through Geoff Castellucci. Found Geoff through a reactor singing "Ain't No Sunshine" 2 years ago. Left to right.... Geoff Castellucci - Bass, arrangements. Cesar De La Rosa - baritone, tenor. Anthony Garguila (gar jew la) - tenor, guest. Eli (elee) Jacobson - tenor, rock tenor, lighting, arrangements. Layne Stein - beatboxer, baritone, arrangements. This one was arranged by Eli and Layne at VQ Studios in Orlando FL. Eli designed the led backdrop. He also built the rooftop wall. They are sitting on several pallets. Anthony and Eli's parents are long time friends so Eli has known Anthony since he was born. Eli was 19 when Anthony was born. Anthony has been in several Voiceplay videos.... Golden Hour, Seven Nation Army, Creep. As well as many shorts videos.

Anthony Gargiula (pronounced "gar-joo-laah") appeared for the first time in an old video that I like a lot, called "Just sing!". In that video, the captions tell you who the singer at any given moment is and what relationship s/he is with Voiceplay... And his caption says "Didn't collaborate with VP yet, but we want to!". It only happened years later, when the pandemic loosened its grip and to travel became possible again, and he appeared in "Golden hour", which I would recommend you to watch 🙂. Later he's been in "7 Nation Army", "Creep", in a number of shorts, and now here. And maybe I'm forgetting some, I'm getting old... 😅 And yes, you're right, Voiceplay (and Geoff's...) fan base is a bunch of nice, gentle, educated, warm-hearted people. Those are the only videos he was in with them. I had to look it up on my other phone on KZread 😂. "Wellerman" is their most popular short with Anthony. It is a fantastic sea shanty. Forgot about "Just Sing". Some of Voiceplay discord members redid Just Sing and released it on the video's 3rd anniversary. "Sing It Together" by ProjectVoiceplay. Members from around the world sing various parts just like Voiceplay and their collaborators did. Some are other reactors but all are fans. When Voiceplay went to Atlantic City NJ to sing live with the group Chicago in November 19 fans went to the 2 day concert. Voiceplay even met up with some of them at the hotel coffee shop the last day in town to chit chat. There are live videos of them in the concert. Especially on Huldra Draco channel. Huldra Draco is a top tier Patreon member and long time fan. She has videos about Voiceplay past and present. And keeps us updated on their happenings. I learned a lot from her. Captions definitely on for both.

This is probably the first new release you’ve reacted to so everybody’s always excited to hear what our favorite reactors think of it. It’s like we have concentrated all of our efforts on the newest release. The rest of the time it’s things that they’ve already released and are personal favorites of ours. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in that my favorite VoicePlay video is always the one they’ve done most recently. I will often go back later and go back to one of my favorites that still is on top, but at the time they release it the new release is always my favorite. This was arranged by Eli , the bald guy who absolutely shines in this. Previous to joining VoicePlay he used to be the front man for a number of rock bands and it shows. I love it when he gets that grit in his voice. He and Anthony, who is the guest artist this time, are both capable of incredible runs and together they are quite the powerhouse. As the arranger he’s also responsible for the entire project. He came up with the idea, designed the digital background, built the wall that they are in front of, decided on the make up and costumes, directed the video, edited the video, and did the initial sound edits. Eli previously arranged Creep and Eleanor Rigby. He got some help from Layne for this one. Since he is a brand new dad I’m sure the demands on his time and energy are pretty daunting! He’s going to be working into the rotation of arrangements from this point forward. If this and the other two are any indication of what he’s capable of, we are in for a real ride.

Awww i love how you stated that about VP fans. I know a couple of the voice play guys, and they are the nicest kindest realest humblest of people. So incredibly talented. They deserve SO MUCH more recognition than they get. ....And they keep getting even better somehow

We’re a rabid bunch when it comes to VoicePlay or Geoff. We know greatness when we hear and see it. All four of the regular members are just mind blowing and their guests are always perfect.

Every time I listen to this something new is revealed.... Aww; you're an official VoicePlay fan, too and you fit right in. We're happy for you to join in. When you rewatch on your own time (you know you will) look for VoicePlay's description for each project; there are often little gems there. Also, VoicePlay generates their own captions because they want to be inclusive and also because Kathy has hearing difficulties. On occasion there may be a little gem included in their captions. VoicePlay are big loving goofballs at heart.

That belt where you turned away for a second? I got shivers down my spine. I absolutely love his power and sustain. Anthony is one of my fave guests to see with them; when they announce an upcoming and his name is there, I’m a kid the night before Christmas can’t hardly even sleep. He’s only like 25. Can you even imagine what this kid will be able to do at fifty if he keeps working at it? I’m convinced he’s going to be huge someday. If not, then the music industry really is as broken as I think. (Honestly … why are people like Kayne famous and VoicePlay isn’t?!) As others mentioned, he’s done a few more tracks with VP. Creep, Seven National Army, and Golden Hour. If you don’t have time to react to all of them, then please put them on your own personal “listen to this” list. If you honestly enjoyed this track as much as you seemed to, then I think you’d like these other three. Also: thanks for the compliments. 😊 They say birds of a feather flock together and all that I guess it’s true because the VP boys are some of the kindest people you’d ever meet. I think they’d be disappointed if anyone was rude in their name.

You've seen Anthony perform in Creep, he also featured in Golden Hour, Seven Nation Army and originally in Just Sing, which was a few years ago... I find him to be one of my favourite collaborators, his voice is amazing...

Anthony has appeared a few times as others have stated, he's done lots of minis as well as "The Wellerman" with them. For a real glimpse into who they are you may like a short documentary they made while touring with Home Free and others on The Sing Off Tour called "voiceplay unlocked" they talk about their vision for VP. also the two videos they made after founding member Earl left in 2020 "Heart if Life" and "The Bones" speak to me of their foundation as a group. I am really enjoying your journey, it's almost like experiencing my own over again.

Woohoo! I've been binging your VP and Geoff videos (and spamming you with comments, haha sorry) and now I see you just did their latest. This song turned me into a grunge girl in high school. Cyberpunk grunge? YES PLEASE! Whenever Anthony guest-sings with them, him and Eli together are a dangerous duo. I'm so glad you've had only positivity and love from the fans. Voiceplay's lineup from 2017-2020 was Geoff, Layne, Earl, JNone, Eli. They lost Earl in 2020 and JNone in 2021. Well, JNone still appears with them when he's available, but since he's in the Navy he can't currently be a permanent member. They added Cesar as a permanent member. The fifth spot is still open. So, for the last 3+ years, they've been doing vids with a rotation of guest artists. Normally, they give the guest a substantial part and position him/her in the center.
