HEY, RECCOMEND ME SOME BTS & TAEYANG! Working on a BTS react and a Taeyang react for you guys, I've decided to make them double features in that I will be doing TWO of each of their songs during the react for a broader analysis. I'm going with Taeyang - Eyes, Nose, lips. BTS - Magic Shop. I'm looking for you guys to recommend me some UPBEAT live songs, one for Taeyang, one for BTS, that you'd like me to talk about. @@aishamirantik5528 I'm doing one ballad/slow song and one upbeat of each artists/group. I want to do this to analyze performance as well as breathing. I know for BTS it's nearly impossible to sing accurately live while doing their choreography, but I think showing just how much they go through in a performance will help future singers understand just what they're getting themselves into, and that its normal to not always sing 100%. Also in faster songs the climax of the song is often bigger and that's something I really want to analyze for both parties. 😊

Most people who are new to Big Bang check out Fantastic Baby or Bang Bang Bang which are both party songs. Their most current song is Still Life but it only has the 4 current members. Last Dance or If You are good ballads. My favorite song is Loser. Taeyang also did a song with group member GDragon called Good Boy. It is also a great song

♦️Ringa, Linga is another Taeyang solo song which is also upbeat, where he also dances, which I hope you also get a chance to react to, as opposed to Eyes, Nose, & Lips, which is a slower, more of a ballad. Also from BigBang, who debuted in 2006, the legendary group, 2nd generation, that were considered Kings of Kpop, he’s from, that inspired so many future Kpop idols, including all of BTS members, other songs I recommend from BigBang: Bang, Bang, Bang; Fantastic Baby; Loser; If You (preferably the Live From Bangkok vid), which really showcases their phenomenally amazing, so beautifully breathtaking vocals, are other songs to react to. Also another must to react to is Good Boy that feat both Taeyang & G-Dragon (leader of BigBang) who also composes most of their songs as well as for others, raps but also is great vocalist, just like Taeyang who also raps as well. Also composes & writes lyrics as well. I urge you to react to Good Boy live from 2014 MAMA awards, as well as BigBang performances as a whole live, also from MAMA awards. (You can even see BTS sitting in audience where idols groups sit during BigBang 2014 MAMA performance where they performed Bang Bang Bang as well as other of their songs like Loser! All members have done solos and collabed with each other. Seeing BigBang live performances are on another level. Just like BTS is now. BTS members have all looked up to this group. But especially Jimin had Taeyang as one of his role models growing up. To not only end up being invited to work with him as well as even be involved in composing the song I’m sure, meant so much to Jimin. Also performing outside of BTS allows Jimin to use more of his full registry including more mid to lower range notes that some aren’t even aware of that he executes equally well as his phenomenally amazing high notes. You can actually see BTS in the audience during one of BigBang MAMA awards performances. They back then always won most of the awards, and closed the show with each yr some of the most memorable, so hype, so energetic performances, that are all must sees that I also highly recommend, just like BTS performances have been at these award shows.but BigBang came first being 2nd generation, BTS 3rd.

He has an incredible mixed range and is very smooth in his transitions. That E5 and Eb5 are notoriously difficult notes for singers, particularly females as it tends to lie are the start of our second passage where we enter our head voice, instead of our head mix. It is often called a 'money maker note'. When we listen to artist that do E5 on chest Mix belts such as Adele or Idina Menzel to name a few it those notes that tend to blow us all away. It is even more difficult for a male voice. Though it's a head mix, and not a chest Mix like some females can stretch to, it's equally as impressive to be able to hold it with clarity the way Jimin does. 👏

I like "Lie" of Jimin solo song, not because of his vocal particularly. But because the structure of the music is genius according many musician reaction. Jimin known to be good dancer with contemporary dance background. The Serendipity live is show his dancing skill in his solo song.

Bro, in Lie he’s belting B4. This music shows a lot more of his vocals textures than Serenditipy, for example. Just bc the music doesn’t sound extremely high it doesn’t means that the vocals are unremarkable. Lie does call a lot of attention as a track over all (and as a performance). And that’s include the vocals as well.

I don’t know nothing about Taeyong’s job so I’ll leave that up for their fans, though I like this live of him. Jimin, well, It’s hard to see Jimin belting because I feel they follow some structures in the band (and he’s usually the one to sing e very high range, mixing or doing falsetto. Very rare to see Jimin using his lower, midlower range in BTS most recently tracks). Thinking about belt, there is Magic Shop, Danger he’s belting a lot, Cristal Snow, Lie (his solo track, he’s belting, but the live performance focus splits between vocals and dance so I don’t know), House of Cards, The Truth Untold.

Jimin has really high grades, he reacts to the compilation of his high grades

A lot of BTS fans don’t know about Taeyang or Big Bang because there was almost 6 years between songs. Big Bang is responsible shaping how Kpop is today and are the inspiration for most active groups today including BTS. Both Big Bang and their solos are defiantly worth exploring. I meant no disrespect, I didn't want to completely butcher his name by saying it incorrectly. In New Zealand some people take great offence to their name being mispronounced so I was trying my best to not offend anyone.

I think not mentioning his name probably hits a nerve with many people, because lots of reactors to Vibe have been quite disrespectful to Taeyang (in various ways). PS: I'm not into the Kiwi/Aussie "rivalry" at all because I've been to NZ several times, touring and working, so I love the place 🥰

@@teresahowells4879 Yeah, been here nearly 15 years, but my English accent comes back particularly if I'm angry or excited, so you may well hear it in my reactions. Oh that's bad, any decent voice teacher should appreciate artists, especially those who have made much more of an impact than said voice teachers existing on KZread. Confidence is the best tool you can give a singer and it'll transform beginners like you wouldn't believe, just because these are professional singers doesn't give us the right to put them down just because they might not be our preferred style of singing or genre. Technique and vocal damage is another issue, and that's what I try to cover. As a voice teacher looking after vocal health is my top priority, so if I see a technique that is potentially going to hurt singers that are still learning then I will say it because it's important, but these guys are professionals who probably (and should) have their own voice teachers and don't need to be told about their choices by me or any other person on KZread. I'm doing a whole speech about it in my BTS react coming in a few days.

He's a wonderful musician, but I didn't want to ruin pronouncing his name as in New Zealand some people get very upset if you pronounce a name incorrectly. I have never heard Taeyang's name said, so I don't know the correct pronunciation. I definitely didn't mean to suggest he is not an important or great artist.
