Shakira is the only singer I know whose live performances sound different from the recording versions in a GOOD way. People lose out only listening to her radio hits. My recommendation is "Toneladas" from her latest album.

This is quite an accomplishment, there are hundreds and hundreds of other youtubers who have reacted to her songs and videos, yet this is the very first time she reacted back to show appreciation in public!! ANTOLOGÍA is the song that most of us in Latin America will forever have close to our hearts. It was one of her first songs and the lyrics are so beautiful. English speakers who got to know her with Laundry Service missed a lot of amazing songs from her Spanish albums before that. Many Latin Americans feel like Shakira has changed too much and remain nostalgic with “the old Shakira”. But she’s still there, maybe not on the singles she puts out, those are commercial... But there are always gems in her albums between those well-known singles.

I love it. To hear the big voice listen these songs: Estoy aqui (Mtv unplugged) Tu (mtv unplugged) No (oral fixation tour) Inevitable (oral fixation tour) And she has more.

Here are some of my favourite live performances: Octavio Dia - Live & Off the Record Je l'aime a mourir - Live from Paris Empire - iHeart radio music awards Inevitable - MTV Unplugged Devocion- Latin Gramys Objection - VMA ..I believe this was like 2002 La Pared - Oral Fixation Tour Hey You - Oral Fixation Tour Ahhh she's got so many great songs and performances! I also love any of her Fifa World Cup performances and of course her superbowl performance this past February!

This live version, with the piano playing, is one of my favorite videos to play the guitar along with her beautiful voice! She knows several languages and her accent is very appealing to me when she is singing! Also, Shakira expresses so much emotion, meaning she can really feel the power of music:)
