@@carlalussini Argentine? LPM por estas cosas me quiero ir de Argentina (de hecho si te pones a pensar Argentina es Una palabra Femenina). EL problema de la identidad de genero es que como no tienen personalidad alguna, de tanto IG y redes sociales, no pueden formar su identidad y tienen que salir a modificar el idioma para que los demas lo sientan parte, y ni ellos mismo se sienten parte de algo, haciendose diferenciar con estois cambios del idioma que quieren imponer. @@MsDecuehrola I absolutely agree with you. Milton, in my opinion, is the best Brazilian male singer, and Gal trails just Elis Regina (well, I like her most than Maria Bethania). But in this particular song they are not really so outstanding. Gal, particularly, is far from her best moments, she's not feeling confident about the lyrics and singing in Spanish, I think.

La realmente increíble aquí es la compositora Violeta Parra, describió un sentimiento hermoso en cada verso y Mercedes Sosa, Caetano, Chico Buarque ,Milton y Gal tuvieron la brillantez de interpretar muy bien.

My parents were part of the struggles in the 70's and 80's fighting for equality for workers and the poor and pushing back on Imperialism and war. You have to hear her live performances when she came out of exile after the Military Junta in Argentina fell in 1982.🙏😢❤

We Brazilians don't usually realise how closely related our hispanic neighbours are to us, and then seeing performances such as Sosa's with brazilian singers is, for me, a heartful latino-american, is deepfully significative. Mercedes Sosa is the love of my life!

You will allow me to tell you a few things about this presentation: I am sixty years old and I was there that day. It was very exciting and for several reasons. We were finally coming out of many years of political closure and national music was appreciated to the best of its potential with artists as powerful as these. Mercedes was - as it still is - an icon of protest music (songs for political struggle) and of course this vocal excellence that Its had could only help that. The artists on stage were representatives of this and some with more pronounced vocal quality, like Milton and Gal, two more like music poets, like Caetano and Chico Buarque (often accused of singing badly, but always lovingly interpret their own songs) . We had high hopes for Brazil at that time and it hurts to see how we could reach a president like this Bolsonaro we have today (representative of the most narrow-minded obscurantism possible).
