Banda is very new to me. I incorrectly called this Mariachi in the video. I’m learning so much!

Around these last moments of her life, her daughter and her hadn’t been speaking for about 2 months because there were allegations and rumors that her daughter was sleeping with her husband and she was also going through a divorce so those last couple months of her life were very hard. But I admire you and thank you for listening to Mexican music and artists and really acknowledging different languages and cultures❤️

Cuando crecí que ahora tengo14 años, navegando por KZread vi el video del funeral de Jenni y todos los artistas y familiares que le cantaban en tributo de despedida, y me lleno de mucha nostalgia y tristeza ese video de ella, y entonces vi otros videos sobre su vida y entre ellos justamente este de su ultimo concierto y al ver como se entrego al público, me cautivo Jenni Rivera. Era una gran mujer, admirable para toda la gente, se convirtió en una de mis artistas favoritas y un gran ejemplo de valentía y sobretodo fortaleza. Justamente ayer hubiera cumplido 52 años la gran señora. Su legado que nos deja es inmensamente grande.

Amazing performance that brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t understand a word because I don’t speak Spanish but her emotions penetrated my heart. Thank you for the translation. I wasn’t to familiar with Jenni Rivera while she was alive, except through the movie she did. About six months ago I saw Mariposa De Barrio on Netflix, not knowing what it was. I watched an episode out of curiosity and was completely hooked. I’ve seen the entire series. Now I’m almost done with the second season of “I love Jenni”. I plan to watch “The Rivera’s” next. I’m almost done reading Jenni’s autobiography and plan to read a book written by her sister and and one written by her daughter. I’ve learned so much about Jenni and can’t believe she accomplished so much, had such a compassionate heart to help others, despite EVERYTHING she went through. Her resilience amazes me. I wish she would have caught my attention while she was still with us. I would have loved to have met her and attend one of her concerts. Jenni and her family will always have a special place in my heart. She is such an inspiration to me. A horrible tragic loss of one of the greatest. The world is definitely not the same without her. I always Cry watching this performance, her sentiment I feel it. She been through a lot!! And it sucks she wasn't talking to Chiquis for rumors, and also dangerous people threatened her. She left a final interview and she didn't tell anyone. Until Pepe Garza decide to contact Chiquis and Johnny to hear her interview. I been a fan of Jenni Rivera since I was in Middle School.
