I don't know about you, but i believe Morissette is at the diva level and the whole world should know. Not recognizing such a special voice is a great shortcoming. This will sing for Disney and hopefully the whole world will meet Morissette's extraordinary voice. From Turkey with love.

She just doesn't sing to IMPRESS she sings to EXPRESS, you get the same level of performance whether she's performing to one person or thousands of people, just watch some of her livestreams sitting in her living room with her piano or guitar blasting out unbelievable raw vocals that I've never seen anyone do before quite like her 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Day 1 she's a little nervous here in front of the man who wrote the music to the Bodyguard movie David Foster. But Day 2 and beyond, she's a little more comfortable. She got rid of the nerves very quickly and sounded even better. It's her first time to work with Mr Foster. From what I've heard she was asked to tour around the world with the maestro himself.

The reason I love Morissette is because of her multi-talents. She can sing any genre with ease. God has definitely gifted her with singing talents every singer wants. Besides being a beautiful and great singer, she is also humble. Thanks for reacting to this highly gifted singer.

Every time Morissette performs, she gives it her best, her 100%, she is passionate about her music and her craft, and she loves her fans and supporters, she always wants to amaze and entertain, to channel her energy. If you will continue to follow her, you will see how even during concerts she mingles with them, takes selfies and groupies with them, talks to the audience, giggles and smiles a lot. She remains humble, repectful, and down-to-earth despite her amazing talent. She is not just a singer and recording artist who's good at studio. She is actually better performing live, like all the Wish Bus videos and her concerts, like this David Foster concert series. Yes, I agree with you, her energy and passion is well supported by her talent, and vice versa, she has an inborn talent and she enhances this gift with her passion and zeal in performing. I like that you can see and feel that, and sense that you are genuinely impressed and admire Morissette like many of us do. More Mori reactions, please. 🥰

Another vocal coach reactor was stunned😅....coach you witness a performer that can outclass divas the aggressiveness of her to attack the on point note with so much power and the transitioning from chest voice to full head voice or mix was so smooth and amazingly clear executed her sustainable super power high note down to super soft delicate voice done flawlessly and effortlessly 👏👏👏.... that's the way our queen mori sings...thanks for the jaw dropping reaction coach😅❤

The one thing I love about Morissette more than anything else is her humility. Yes of course her voice is beautiful and phenomenal but without that humbleness you are just another name. IMO she’s a true stage performer. She has the vocals to back it up and also the ability to capture the audience with her passion and her Morissette swagger. Many artist sounds amazing on records but put them on a stage singing live … they don’t sound as good where Morissette sounds better live on stage! This her day 2 (pink dress) performance of the Bodyguard Medley singing both songs. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aZurkpeJadnLgco.html

You are quite right that we Mowienatics (fans of Morissette) love her dearly. What is not to love with the best vocalist in the business?! But we do not love Mori simply because she is a gerat vocalist. Morissette always shows nothing but love and respect and humility to her devoted fans, and we feel it!! If, as you say, Mori can channel our love and support and draw on that to help her perform in the incredible way she does, that would make me very happy indeed!! ❤❤❤❤

This is a David Foster concert. The friends are invited guest preformers and I suspect very little in the way of rehearsal. She needs to take control of conducting the timing so she turns to the drummer and David to get them in synch with her performance. She is a pro. 😊🎉

The best with Mori is no matter how high the crescendo, it’s still soothing to the ear. Yes with vocal control and can play with it. The reason I can’t appreciate other singers with high pitch as it’s too painful to the ear, like shouting. I’m used to listening and attending Broadways so I can see the difference. Well said reaction. Thank you. 😘👍

There is a groundswell of support for Mori in the online community, because we believe she should be more widely known and appreciated. The western world tends to overlook anyone outside the mainstream. In the U.S., it is extremely hard to be accepted without a certain look or to fit into a certain category. She won't compromise her life to be manipulated by the large producers; ergo no headlines. Although on her last tour of the States, she was displayed on the giant electronic billboard in Times Square(still playing in B-list venues).

Hi Rene, thank you so much for your heartfelt reactions to my favorite singer! I wrote a small blurb about her in your previous video in case you're interested in learning more about her background. Not sure you saw it, though, so I thought I'd try again here 😊 Morissette is 26 years old. She was 21 in the Akin Ka Na Lang video and 22 in the Never Enough video. Her father was a rock singer and her original musical influence. Her first name is actually Johanne and her middle name is Morissette, having been named after Johann Sebastian Bach and Alanis Morissette (clearly a music-loving family!). One of the signatures of her voice is her use of grit/distortion/intentional vocal breaks, and I think this is her father's influence showing 🙂 She also had a bit of musical theatre training when she was on the Philippines' version of Camp Rock, and even though her main genre is pop, she does gorgeous renditions of music from other genres (including musical theatre) while staying true to her signature sound. She is incredibly resilient. When she was 11, she had surgery for a throat tumor and was terrified she may never sing again. Thankfully, that didn't happen! She did a number of singing competitions while growing up, including The Voice Philippines, but kept falling short of the very top. (As a longtime musician who lives in the US and isn't Filipino but has followed Filipino music for 30+ years, in my opinion this is because her voice and singing style are different than what is typically popular there. Lots of fans are obsessed with belting with as much power and ornamentation as possible). She will readily admit this became so discouraging that she almost decided to throw in the towel and give up on her dream. But her stint on The Voice opened doors with people who couldn't deny her talent, and she signed a record and TV deal with the largest network. Ironically, she became a member of a four-person group called the Birit ("belting") Queens on that network's weekly singing show. She can belt with the best of them, but her style leans more toward elegance than sheer, unadulterated power (her former groupmate Jona has a very similar style). In fact, when her initial contract ended about three years ago and she became an independent artist, she made a deliberate shift away from the "birit" style of singing. She also deliberately shifted away from using her whistle register so much, even though it's an ability she's always naturally had, largely because she didn't want to be pigeonholed as "that singer who can do whistle tones." I came across her by sheer dumb luck several years ago. Her voice immediately drew me in and sent me down a rabbithole. I was delighted to discover that the more I watched and listened to, the more impressed I was. For me, she really has it all - rock solid technique, stunning technical prowess, a voice that is both distinct AND known for its sheer beauty, an innate gift for musicality, magnetic stage presence, staggering versatility. In addition to her recent appearances with David Foster, where he gave her very high praise, at one point Mariah Carey's former producer Rhett Lawrence was trying to sign her to Capitol Records, called her talent "unparalleled" and said he thought she could be bigger than Mariah and the other stars he's worked with. Unfortunately, the pandemic got in the way of those plans and then she decided to get married and stay in the Philippines...que sera sera. (Here is an interview with Rhett, in case you're interested: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nX1sp5qEgrycY9o.html ) At any rate, I am so happy you discovered her and encourage you to please continue exploring all she has to offer. She is absolutely the real deal and for me, one of the best singers I've heard anywhere.

Fantastic review/reaction/analysis, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for jumping in with Morissette❣My most favorite reaction videos are by professional voice coaches, because they understand best the skills/tools/passion that Mori brings.
