What a beautiful soul he has. After overcoming depression, he turns to help the others through his music. He doesn't care whether his vocalization is perfect, only cares about the complete expression of his real emotion. As you said his feeling and his voice merge. Everything comes from the depth of his soul. He is a great artist who creates music with his life. Thank you for your sincere reaction. Hope your next reaction to Hua coming soon.

Thank you for the reaction. Hua's songs really help a lot of people. As you said, he uses his voice as an instrument, he helps me to express my emotion with his music.

It is his own experience. He nearly jumped from the terrace of his house. Other thing, he sees a voice as an instrument same like a piano, a base or drums, when he's singing he finds himself as a sound blending with other instruments into a composition.

He said he wanted to jump down from the balcony one day. Looking back, that could also be the time he had a relationship breakup. From what i saw in the show: The Next". he would write the melody and he had words and phrases in mind, which he would write down, and his lyricist would work along those words, till the whole song is what he looks for.

@@ruthoncall Maybe I am reading this wrong, but it seems like you are saying that HuaHua does not look at his own voice as an instrument? Although he sometimes has word cues and is very strict with the message he wishes the lyrics have, he rarely writes the lyrics himself. The message comes from his melodies, created by his voice, piano, guitar, or whatever. He has said he has tried to write, but more often than not, his words can not keep up with his music, so he has professional writers to write it. "The Next" is different because he is rearranging songs, not creating his own, and I do believe he gets help if he wants to add lyrics. The whole song does not always mean lyrics in Hua Chenyu's case. And about wanting to jump off the balcony, that was one thing he told us about. He has been thinking about wanting to leave this world more than once, as it is written in his songs and he might have talked a bit about it as well. So looking back, it might or might not have had something to do with a breakup. But I doubt that was his first time... hopefully it was the last.

@@kunilsen2519 I have no thought of him not using his voice as an instrument, having seen video clips where has said he does that. I merely described what I saw in The Next, and it helped me to see how he influenced the writing of the lyrics, though he has said the lyrics are not his work. (This comment is from a musical illiterate, me!).

Thanks for reacting to HuaHua Valerie. This song is so wonderfully written, deepest lyrics paired with light music, truly beautiful, meaningful and touching. HuaHua suffered a bout of depression in early 2019, and he composed a trilogy of songs about it, this one, Madhouse (reggae/rap), Conversation with the Children of Mars (A song to be sung together with his Martians at the concert). Then there's a fourth song that HuaHua calls Nr 0 in this trilogy, 7 Personalities. I love them all but 7 Personalities is truly an art performance in HuaHua's unique style, if you would react to it next, the video at New Year's Gala, Thanks and take care.

Thank you for a wonderful reaction to a wonderful song, performance and artist♥️ even if he has a lyricist, the message is his own, and he is sharing his own experiences and feelings. Tears and hope in this song💕 True he is really relaxed when performing live, his interaction with his audience is extraordinary..he can chat with thousands of people, be sincere, joke a lot and get teased..a real showman. I’d love if you do more reactions to Hua Hua, the trilogy and Seven Personalities ( New years gala version ) that others already mentioned. And another beautiful ballad Giant Deer , live at his Marsconcert 20171014. The first time I realized how great his interaction with his Martians ( his fans) is , was when I watched King and Beggar, live Beijing Mars concert 2017... after that I decided I have to go to one of his concerts, when its possible again ..so please also add King and beggar to the reaction list🥰 ❤️

Thank you for reacting to HuaHua again. He is the best at his concerts. His interactions with his martians are amazing. You can see some of it in the King and Beggar (Mars concert 2017) video. I really hope I can go to one of his Mars concerts one day. A reaction to his songs 7 Personalities (New years gala), Madhouse (Mars Concert 2019), Conversations with Martian Children (Mars Concert 2019), The Mayfly (Mars concert 2019) and Giant Deer (Mars concert 2017) would be amazing. Love your videos . 🤗

This Hua Cheyu journey I have now taken with you has been amazing. Sadly I am dealing with what I can only assume is depression for a very long time. Every day I think about leaving this world, and it's not like I want to die. It's just that I don't want to live. But I feel quite bad, to even consider it when I have a few people I don't want to experience losing someone close. I find safety in HuaHua. And reaction videos allow me to "feel" emotions through you. So thank you.

What a wonderful reaction. I'm sorry I didn't catch it sooner. You seem to have a really good grasp of how HuaHua creates and performs. I think you are right on the money. When he performs, he is truly himself, and that is the definition of integrity. Everything is integrated into his music. His skills as a composer keep getting better and better. I hope you get a chance to check all of his most recent songs out, and I think others have mentioned them below. I want to second the request for my favorite 7 Personalities, please. Anything else he does will be greatly appreciated.

Depression is a disease, just like cancer...it’s cancer of the mind. I wish more people would treat it as such. I’ve suffered from it since high school and my adult life. I’ve attempted suicide several times and deal with the temptation daily. If you want my advice, don’t drop your friends/loved ones because you are too busy. I’ve lost ALL my friends over this because they couldn’t be bothered. I literally do not have one friend to talk to...this song hits home 😭😭😭
