I am sorry to hear about your pain and i hope you find out why. I just listen to your covers, your passion was mesmiration and i will return looking for new ones. I can not belive that a singer/reacter whit that love for old soulful music not have followed Angelina Jordan for years. Since you are a women who i guess is emotinal and kind i think you will get a dilema reacting to the younger Angelina. How do you react to a child of 7/8 year singing summertime, do react to the child or to the singer? Normaly you would react to the talent of the child but what do you do when the child is by many seen as the best jazz singer in the world ?

@@daghugowilhelmsen5660 with kids it is quite difficult, they are not fully developed and their voices might change dramatically. I love old ladies of jazz, true queens like ella, billie and nina simone :) but I am glad I found a young talent like angelina too :) thank you so much!

She started early whit Whitney Housten ( 1 1/2 year old ) but since she was 3 years old jazz have been her pasion. She sing her songs in a way that give even old norwegian men tears in they eays ( kids/men in Norway never cry at least not when it can be seen ).

Angelina's magical voice has healing properties. The more you listen, the better you feel. Listening to her has lowered my blood pressure, taken away my headaches..No other young female singer has her ability to do that. I have tried Diana (she made things worse) Grace, Daneliya, Roberta. Angie's voice is SPECIAL< period

Excellent reaction & analysis of Angelina Jordan. She has been my favorite vocal artist, EVER, since I discovered her 3 years ago. She is a jazz genius, but she can cover most any style or genre of music. She emotes better than any singer I've heard, giving me goosebumps every time & often makes me cry, sometimes because the song is sad, but sometimes because it's just so beautiful. She does all her own arrangements & she has the uncanny ability to take an old classic song & rearrange it to be her own version, often better than the original,IMO. She got the Golden Buzzer for this performance which sent her directly to the finals. Thx for that insighthful reaction. That's a well done description of Angelina. She knows exactly what she can do and what is appropriate for the essence of a song. She's not using belting to force your attention as other singers do, only really when it is fitting to the song. Her arrangements are often complex but very subtle. Each time I am listening I'm discovering new details. Her music really is a colorful world full of contrasts. Each song different in style, tempo, even voice. Thanks to the internet we get to see all of these amazing kids, and then other children see them and then there will be even more, It is wonderful. Used to be we could only see people in our own countries now we have the world and great music, I like Diana and Danelia, and Grace, and of course Angelina.

It's hard to react to an interpretation like this, you can only be impressed by the fact that Angelina at only 13 years old was able to face a challenge with such an iconic song as this and made her become her own song, with a fantastic reworking, a calm, powerful and terribly emotional interpretation. For me she is perhaps the most multifaceted and talented singer there is at the moment, if you think she is just turned 14 years. You have discovered something special with this one. This is just scratching the surface with Angelina. She has done so much incredible work in the past 7 years. And the heart, and the passion you hear in this performance... she brings that in every performance she does. You have many, many more songs to hear from her. And because Angelina is new to you and maybe some of your followers, I like to leave this little bio so that you can learn a little more about her background, and her kind soul.... *Angelina Jordan* - Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently 14 - She began singing at the age of one and a half - At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and started studying all the greats from Jazz history with youtube videos. - *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot as a way to remember that little girl and to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help. Think about it an 18 month child singing Whitney Houston. Scrolling through KZread at 2 years old looking for Jazz. Telling her Mother at 3 she wants to sing for Simon Cowell. First of all i like to say i'm sorry you're in pain and hope it gets better. For Angelina, she won Norway Got Talent when she was 7 and from there she has 120+ songs covers on youtube and has 3 originals, her fan base is very big as i am one of them . she doesn't wear shoes on stage due to a promise she made to another child less fortunate [Big Heart], she wrote a book about it and became first child to publish a book. she is now 14 years old, when on AGT she sang Bohemian Rhapsody, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Someone You Loved, she was only 13..she is amazing. Here’s my advise, there is a small book called “Treat your own back” by pioneer Robin Mckenzie that can complement your doctors advise - I mean, your doctor certainly doesn’t have the time to explain you what you need to learn about your back. Thanks to my neurosurgeon and this book I’ve been postponing my back surgery for 20 years now (I’m 58). Great reaction btw. I’ve almost stop commenting about Angelina because I have no words left. She’s simply put my preferred singer ever.

Hello - Welcome to Angelina's world. It is great to hear a jazz/blues artist react to Angelina. What you will find in Angelina is a vocalist who doesn't do vocal gymnastics, she simply and beautifully interprets the story and meaning of the song and pours her soul into every performance. Your comment about her use of the forceful high note in the middle of the song is an example of her choices when she arranges a song. Sure, Angelina is more than incredible, but I could just listen and watch Katriinka all day - the passion she radiates when listening to a performer is inspiring, enveloping even. She just "lives" in the music. Beautiful to watch - and it has to be said, beautiful to see.

I know you are laughing but I know what back pain is so I am very sorry, especially since you are so young to have such a problem. I am 77yo so it is not unusual to have back pain, but you are so young. I hope you get relief soon. I love Angelina. I have been following her since she won Norway's Got Talent at 7 or 8yo. Do watch "I Put A Spell On You" sung at 10yo, I believe. It is amazing.

First I dicovered Diana Ankudinova and Dimash Kudaibergen. Excellent singers, great talent. There souls are born on Broadway and in Las Vegas. Angelina Jordans soul was born in Chicago and New Orleans. This "jazzy" touch in her voice and her incredible abilty to make every cover her own song makes her unique.
