The Bass player made the string arrangements. Dominic Seldis is 1st Bass player of Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. He is a judge on Maestro; a fun conductor competition between known Dutch people (serie of 8 /9 shows and each show 1 gets voted out out of 2 by the orchestra).

@@benbermusics You mean the double bass player (Dominic Seldis). There is a difference between a bass player and a double bass player. The bassplayer in this video is Nick Kamphuis.

Ogene has actually participated in BesteZangers in 2016; It is worth while checking out the perfomances they did their. For example “Clown” or “Het is over”, a Dutch song, that one is beautiful!

They did Dolly Parton's Jolene so they do have a Country song. they also did medleys of Beegees(disco) and Three Degrees (Motown) and Earth Wind and Fire(R and B) Disney(Childrens) and Heartbreak Medley(90's girl bands) and Simon and Garfunkel(Folk Rock)

They sing very beautyful, but you look amazing, so it’s double enjoyable to watch your reactions.

Also fun fact about the contra Bass player Dominic Seldis is that he plays the score of the James Bond movie 'Golden Eye' sung by Tina Turner. The, pom pom pom, in the beginning is his idea, so he tells everyone.

The sisters are special, the blend they create is amazing and the only "rivals" i can think of are those amazing 60's and 70's harmony groups from Motown, but in the moderns days? i kinda do not see any competition at their level right now (obviously i dont know every modern harmony act, so there might well be others on par with them, i just dont know them) I'm going to miss these home isolation sessions they gave us, true weekly treats for all of us. Side step, i love what you did (and didnt do) with your hair, the loose curls look great on you and the (omg, treading on thin ice here!!) streaks of grey really do suit you too, personally would just let that beautiful color grow and embrace it as the mark of professional seniority :D (and get used to people comparing you to a young Carol King hehehe) Ty for the lovely react and analysis :) (PS. Yes.. that band/collection of musicians is amazing too, they indeed bring to the table, what the girls need to shine. they are just as important to the success and sound of the music that Og3ne makes)

They also do a few great medlies songs from "Disney Medley" and one by the legendry group "The Bee Gees" all these done during the pandemic from home! They are amazing and their harmonies rival the ACapella group Home Free!

on the Show Beste Zangers they did a cover of Ed Sheeran's "Sing" and they used their own technique they perfected growing up they call Echoing where they each take a word or two and pass off to the next as they sing you can tell who's singing by the raised hands during the performance.

I have a question for you as a vocal coach about this 2012 performance of these girls. kzread.info/dash/bejne/o6iNzMGdoLHPmLA.html The question is; Are those braces Amy (in the middle), is wearing hampering her vocals? And do you think, like I am, that they should re-release this song, which is one of the best original songs I've ever heard from them. This is the song that got me into Og3ne, then known as LAS Vocals. 2 years ago I reacted to the video and these were my comments. " This one is fenomenal, it's a shame that it never got released as a single. The only negative about this version are Amy's braces, not her fault of-course, but it hampers her, you can hear it in her voice, especially when she has to sing F's and S's. Maybe a re-release would solve this and who knows it might give these three ladies their final (worldwide) breakthrough. Their harmonies are world class and so are their angelic individual voices. I've been searching for a girl band with the same talent and quality but couldn't find any. These Girls are in a league of their own, only comparable to groups like En Vogue, Destiny's Child and/or Wilson Philips".

Amy still sounds amazing with braces. That's talent right there.

The original/album is much more studio......this arrangement is different/difficult and had brought a tear to my my, along with Lights and Shadows, RTL Late Nite.

They have more of a country sound when they sing "Jolene" by Dolly Parton.

Lisa, who did the low note before the jump, was doing a lower harmony at that jump anyway , so the jump wasn't as high for her as it was for her sisters who were singing the higher harmonies. I'm just adding that in, otherwise it's a really great reaction.
