Completely agree, however I would also say that every singer in this ensemble is over the top talented. But Kate especially, it seems that the ladies are the strength of this group. Nothing but admiration and love for the guys, they’re amazing also. But the girls compliment each other in such a way that it’s other worldly. Voctave is just built differently, they do things that didn’t even seem possible before.

hahaha yes exactly THIS! When I first saw this video of Voctave I felt the same. It's such a gorgeous piece of art. Especially the more you watch it, you notice all these little things as well like the "background" singing when the princesses switch, these are all these chill-moments when the choir comes all together and e.g. when "Arielle" sings, kinda at the very end you notice this super high background voice from the first princess, gosh this is soooooo goood!!

Those tenors during the “Part of Your World” climax at 4:51 really pull me into the music and make me quite emotional also - 38 y/o man.

I really like the voice of the lady who sang colors of the wind. She doesn't have a typical 'Disney princess' voice, but she did an amazing job and sounded incredible. Also my favorite Voctave song is a mashup of Carol of the Bells and The Bells of Notre Dame.

@@ursusfidelis In the rehearsal clip, the guest lead singers lost their composure after a high note from Kate. Kate even leaned forward with a cheeky smile, like "here I go again!" And the leads must have felt upstaged; all of a sudden their voices sounded smaller, and they burst out in nervous laughter.

6:40 Agreed. Reflection is the best princess song. It’s so dynamic and contemporary yet still has the gravitas of a golden era Disney princess song. Colors of the Wind is also top tier

They do work at Disney but they’re all current or former members of Voices of Liberty which performs at Epcot under the dome in the American Pavilion. But yes they started Octave out of that :) Or at least I hope the current members are still there...Disney made a shit ton of entertainment cuts and sadly hardly anyone was spared...

Voctave is amazing. Their Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame gives me chills every time.

I have seen each one of them sing as lead singer. They are all profoundly good at their craft. The Bass is exceptional. Together, they make magic.

I always find myself covered in goosebumps and holding my breath watching Voctave. As a 69 year-old man, they sing the way I always dreamed I could. Maybe in heaven.

I actually found Voctave from watching some Voices of Liberty videos, so yes, many of them are the same!

I am literally BAWLING. There's something holy (I do not say that ever) about a group of insanely talented musicians like this, who have so much talent, skill, focus, & love for music. When they all come together in perfect harmony--PUN INTENDED--it is the definition of magic!! That was heavenly.

Hannah, you have given us so many comprehensive and insightful analyses in your reactions. You have earned the right to be a fangirl for those performances that are special to you. Besides, it's a Disney medley. How could you not?

Think my favourite part of this voctave performance was during the Little Mermaid song when all the male singer did that harmony behind the main singer when she starts the line "I'm ready to know". I don't know musical terms, but whatever happened there touched my soul.

Going from one woman’s voice to the next is like showing the best talent in every single range. No wonder they sound so beautiful together!

Voctave always makes me cry. Their Disney Love Medley is amazing!

The first time I heard Voctave, I cried....... When a singer hears other singers and everything is just so perfect, there is nowhere for your feelings to go.....so they come out in tears.......In high school my friends thought I was nuts, I would set during a play, and cry. Seriously. I've always felt singing so big that nothing handles my feelings like tears.

My wife and I went on a Disney cruise for our honeymoon (in 2019) and I listened to Disney songs nonstop leading up to it. Now they make me choke up and reminisce on our trip. Everyone on the ship knew we were newlyweds.They go over the top, it breaks my heart that it's over. Go to Remy, you wont regret it, Little Chef is quite the host. Once in a lifetime.

That was absolutely incredible - in a way, thank you for NOT stopping too much as it was just wonderful watching them do their thing with occasional comments on what they were doing. So the biggest Voctave song that blew up was a collab with Kirsten of Pentatonix called the "Disney Love Medley" (hope I have that right). But other stand outs are a couple Christmas songs in "Oh come all ye faithful" which features a tenor of the group named E. J. Cardona who has some ridiculous lung capacity. The other is "Mary did you know?" With the original writer of the song Mark Lowry. Most recently they released a video for "Someday" from Hunchback of Notre Dame. Essentially if you want to listen to more Voctave there is no shortage of material that will blow you away.
