You can thank the baritones for that too, they're on the D3; a 5th above, which makes the bass's G2 buzz :)

No congregation, no audience, lovely church, a beautiful acoustic, blissful piece of music and eight marvellous musician singers revelling in their version of heaven on earth...there's nothing more wonderful in the world. Thanks for sharing, Voces 8; once more, you are an inspiration.

Unbelievable. Every time I think after listening and looking to a video: this is the best one. But after a few weeks a new video arrives and I'm blowing away. Like this one. Amazing music and performance, but also a beautiful location. Thank you.

If you get the chance, please go see them live. Sit as close as you can. These videos are amazing(!), but it isn't that. It is different when you are there for a performance. There is a subtlety, warmth, and presence that lives in those moments. Sincere thanks to Voces8 for putting these out in the world. They brighten my day.

I've had the priviledge to hear them live here in the Stuttgart region more than once and I completely agree with you. I was there at this festival: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qq1_tNmIhtSYosY.html. It was mesmerising and as a Brit I was proud that Voces8 was the very best out of all the outstanding choirs present there that day.

I had the opportunity to see them in Chicago a few months back and I could not agree more! There’s an ambience that’s missing when listening to a recording, no matter how well it’s captured - live music is something truly special.

C'est vrai. J'ai pu aller les écouter à Saint Raphael en France (décembre 2022) et parler ensuite avec eux, en particulier Andrea Haines. Sa simplicité est aussi grande que son talent. Une présence douce et affirmée. Les avoir vu en concert permet de mieux les écouter ensuite. Ils sont présents.
