This is my all time favorite performance of his. I never want it to end. To me, it's hypnotic, meditative, mysterious, primal, and even sensual. If you react to the lyrics version of Know (especially the music video version), you'll understand why I say sensual. The dark-haired woman in the audience towards the end is his mother. You can see the pride in her eyes. ❤ Thank you so much for reacting to this gem.

Technique is called singing into "the mask". Best example is people who can speak/sing with mouth closed. Tho his mouth is almost closed, back of his throat is fully open. And sound produced deep back. Only mouth manipulations needed is to shape and colour the voice or to make it look like there is some effort going on. I think of Dimash's voice as of flute or violin where he has even airflow/soundflow from the top to the bottom and then his mouthshape decides whether its gonna be classic violin, or electic, or dombra, or electric guitar. Or bass guitar😅

@@Chabtung @Melody I also vote in Twitter, google and IG...We noticed that Ar*shi starts their requests earlier...So in 30 minutes before the start, Kevan says in tiktok that Dimash is in first place. And at the first announcement of the results, Dimash is in second place. Maybe everything is affected by what is happening that Ar..shi start voting earlier...

Vocalize is really growing on me. I like it more and more each time I hear it and Dimash has several versions including the mv which does have words to it. Also notable in the video you just reacted to is the camera did catch his mother Svetlana in the Audience there at towards the end. (9:08). Dimash looks quite a bit like her.

Know (the version with words) is actually a different song--but they are written to the same motif. I can always hear the one in my head when I listen to the other. They make wonderful backdrops for each other.

The version of this song with words is Znsi (Know). My favorite version is the one with ice skating at the ice palace in Russia. He also has a music video that's beautiful that was short in Iceland.

No, actually it originally was intended to be a vocalise, until Gutseriev decided otherwise and wrote some rather lame sounding (in Russian) lyrics. Dimash obviously prefers it a s a vocalise, and I do as well.

Dimash is a total genius, unmatched in this universe and beyond !
